After a bowl of ramen Kakashi takes me on a walk to the river.

I want to hold his arm but I won't. He seems to be shy in the village. He keeps his identity hidden from them too.

Instead I link my our pinkies. I look at him to see if he is rejecting the idea. He doesn't say anything and just keeps looking forward.

The dim lights on the street fade as we get to the edge of the tree line.

There's a few kids running around or people bringing in laundry. But most of the town is already getting settled for bed.

We walk in silence but it's not uncomfortable.

He stops at a tree and squeezes my finger. I look up and see a large moth.

"Ooooh how pretty." I say.

I reach my hand up and it rests on my hand for a few seconds before flying away.

We finally reach the river. It's shallow but fast moving.

I walk to the edge and kneel down next to the water.

I place my hand and enjoy the feeling of the water rushing over it.

I play in the water by myself for a few minutes.

I turn and spot Kakashi reading one of his books while leaned against a tree.

"Hey." I say to him.

He looks up and tucking his book away.

I motion for him to come closer to the water. He complies and sits next to me.

"Do you know any water jutsu?" I ask.

"I know a bit." He says smiling.

"Can I show you something?" I ask.

"Yes.
Wait actually," he pulls his headband up and opens his previously covered eye, "now you can." He says.

I make the water spiral and trace up my hand. I let it build up then I freeze it into a small shape.

Then I hold the ice out for Kakashi to hold.

He closes his one eye.
"That was impressive." He says.

He rolls the ice around in his hand.

I let the ice melt.

He tosses the remaining ice into the water.

"Can you do other things?" He asks.

I pause and look at the flowing water.

He touches the side of my face. I can tell he's just curious.

"Yes. I can do bad things too." I say lowly.

He doesn't say anything.

"I injured Orochimaru during a training exercise.
I—during the thing back at- you know- I killed two people with an ability I hadn't tried before." I say.

My eyes dart around, uncomfortable with the lack of talking.

"Akari. I have done some bad things too." He says surprising me.

"But not... not what I've done... I don't want to talk about this." I say looking at him.

He nods.

"Okay." He says.

I rest my head on his shoulder for a moment.

"I truly sometimes can't believe you're real. It scares me." I say rubbing my hands across his arms.

"I don't know how to make that better." He says.

"I don't think I can thank you enough for all that you've done for me. If you don't want me at your place you can tell me, alright?" I say standing up.

"Where would you go?" He asks.

I just shrug.

"I want you here. In the village." He says.

He stands up and holds my shoulders.
"I want to stay by your side. You are always welcome here in the village, at my apartment, and here with me." He says.

He lets his hands slide down my arms and smiles at me.

I place my arms on his shoulders and tilt my head up, kissing him on his mask.

I step away from him slightly. Trying to gauge his reaction.

He slings me over his shoulder and jumps onto the tree branches.

I scream in surprise.

He moves quickly with not thrashing me around too much.

He gets to his front door and is out of breath. He unlocks the door hastily and pulls me in.

He closes the door and presses me against it.

I gasp and it turns into a cry of pleasure  when he pushes his chest against mine.

"I want to do so much to you." He says in my ear.

I whine and try to get closer to him.

"Will you let me?" He pleads.
"Yes!" I say out of breath.

He steps away from me and pulls his headband off. Then I watch in awe as he slips his mask up over his head.

I chew my lip following him to his bedroom.

He kicks off his shoes and removes his outer layers.

Once just his thin shirt and pants remain he sits on his bed.

"I need some help." I say loving the way he is looking at me up and down.

He quickly pulls me out of my clothes leaving just my undershirt and panties.

I straddle his legs and run my fingers through his hair before placing my lips on his.

It's everything and more that I've dreamed of. All those nights of wishing have come true.
