Chapeter 19: Fatima VS.

3 weeks later

Fatima has been studying for her bar exam non stop the last couple weeks. She's on her final month of college and has been stressed like crazy. Her and Zac are better than ever. Lately their relationship has been stress free and at peace.

Tom is still not talking to Sarah , he even met with a divorce lawyer about taking the necessary steps to
get the divorce process started. The company has pretty much been a shit show since Tom and Zac walked away. Over half of the employees walked away because of budget cuts and pay cuts for employees. Tasha felt that the company wasn't taking a big enough percentage from the employees so she upped the percentage from 6% commissions to 50/50 commissions splits for the realtors and investors.

Michael has tried to get Fatima and Monique on the same page but Fatima cut all ties with her sister Monique after Monique cussed her out about buying Michael a truck as an early Christmas gift. Monique felt that Fatima has never done anything like that for her and she felt that Fatima should at least offer to buy her nieces/ nephews something for Christmas . Christmas is a week away and all the families are divided.

Rob has still been trying to get a conversation out of fatima . He didn't understand how Mary and Monique could move on and forgive him but Fatima couldn't. He felt that Fatima is holding a grudge against him and that she's being brainwashed by her brother Michael into not speaking to him.

Chris has been out the way since Michael was released. Truth is he was afraid the Michael would come after him again. Susan Chris wife confronted Fatima again at the grocery store about a week ago saying that she know Fatima had something to do with her husband being attacked and that she's not going to let it go until fatima admits it.

Chris - why are you still going on about it ,  I already told you to let it go

Susan- why are you protecting them

Chris- I said to leave it alone

Susan- not until you tell me the truth

Chris- Susan

Susan- I'm your wife Chris I know you. You told me that you wanted Michael to rot in prison for what he did to you and then a couple days later you were attacked ..... you were beat and have a broken arm and somehow you changed your mind a couple days before the trial.

Chris- if I tell you you can't overreact because it's handled

Susan- okay I promise

Chris- truth is I don't know who attacked me but whoever it was made me promise to defend Michael at the parole hearing so that he could get out of jail and if I didn't they said that they would come back and kill me and y'all and I just couldn't risk that

Susan - you know Fatima had something to do with that right

Chris- I'm pretty sure she did. They made me admit to things that I didn't do.

Susan- what do you mean

Chris- they made me say that I tried to hurt Fatima even though I didn't. She's my niece I would never do nothing like that.

Susan- right because she tried to throw herself at you

Chris- right , her father said that she was feisty  and fast and I didn't believe him until she tried to come onto me that night
