Claudia cried herself to sleep after that break up. Kent was a great guy, he really was. For him to do that to her was honestly heartbreaking. Claudia struggled to get up, her eyes and face were puffy, she had a massive migraine that felt like she had a heart up there, pounding.
She stayed quiet as she felt home, taking the train to work to just collect her thoughts and those thoughts lead to Richie, the main reason why. She gets to the beef, shoving her belongings into her locker and does her thing. She wants to be in her own world.
"Hey." Sweeps comes beside her. "How was your date last night?" Claudia doesn't stop cutting onions.
"Can we not? I just wanna get this done, 20 minutes before we open." She shuts down. Sweeps sighs as he sees the red puffiness from her face. She can hear Ebra read the news article of a man that was here, raving about the dish that Sydney made, talking about the food here at the shop.
"Cool. Thats fine." He backs up.
"Yo Claudia, you and your boy toy have fun last night? Or do i have frustrated you again?" Richie comes behind her.
"Leave me alone Richie." She cuts down.
"Im telling you, what I said, better work so i don't get-" Richie leans back.
"Dont." Tina's son Louie comes in and Richie starts talking to him and then Sydney to him. All she wanted was Richie out of her way. Carmy just turned on the To-Go tablet, and it was going crazy. Claudia immediately stops what she was doing and head to the paper of orders on the floor. "Carmen! Fuck me!" She picks up the paper, looking as it keeps printing.
"What?" She shoves the receipts to him. Everyone was now freaking out. What now? Sydney was looking at the tablet, trying to see whats going on. "You left the pre order option open." Claudia's mouth drops.
"What that mean?"
"That means we have 78 slices of chocolate cake, 99 french fries, 54 chickens, 38 salads, and 255 beef sandwiches due in eight minutes." Claudia squats down. Carmy starts yelling at Sydney and Richie who were fighting. "Chef's go to the walk-im, get all the cooked beef, slice it, put it in just. Get it now!" Claudia races to the walk in.
"Yes chef!" The kitchen was insane.
"Claudia, help Richie with fries!" Caludia responded with a yes chef. "No, i want you to cut everything and prepare the veggies." Claudia drops everything and heads to her station. Sydney and Carmy were now yelling.
"Step out. Step out." Carmy tells her. "Get the fuck off my expo chef now!" Claudia's eyes widen as she hears Carmys voice echoed. Claudia gets the potatoes and goes around as Richie yells corner last minute, knocking the fries and potatoes out of their arms.
