Part 2: A Gamble

White House, Washington DC 3 years before

In the White House, all the important figures of the world, including several leaders of different countries, are having a discussion. Suddenly they heard a boom, but they were least affected. They are in the White House who would dare to attack them, but suddenly a man entered there alone. His expressions of distain, as breaching the White House, was a piece of cake for him.

The guards inside the White House quickly took out their guns and aimed at the mysterious figure, but suddenly a white gas came out of their uniforms and they passed out.

"Ladies and gentlemen of different nations, my name is Justin Drake, and I am a detective. You must be thinking I am a terrorist, but no, I have my reasons for coming here like this, but don't worry, I will explain everything to you all", the mysterious figure who was none other than Justin spoke.

"And what are your so-called reasons that a so called detective like you dared to enter the White House" the leader of Russia spoke.

"President why waste time talking to terrorists like him and just kill that bastard" a young secretary suddenly spoke loudly.

"Wait, this guy is not easy to deal with. He breached the security at the White House and even took out our guards. This man is not normal". Suddenly the chairperson spoke calmly.

"So, ladies and gentlemen,I am here to tell you about the.... some special type of creatures I saw, we call them Lizard humans" Justin said.

But before anyone could say anything he spoke again, "Come on don't show me shocked expressions I know you all know about them already, so as you all know, lizard humans can shape-shift. They might be here disguised too, but as a white house which has thermal scanning, the highest security for all leaders, this is the least expected place they will try to breach. In a case I was solving, I got to know about a creature that can shape-shift, has lizard-like features and so. After a certain investigation, I found him. He tried to attack me, but I was somehow able to knock him out, but after that, I noticed after knocking him out, there was a bomb in his chest which was going to burst. Luckily, I used my brain and managed to escape with half of the body of the lizard, that is why I'm here. If I try to tell it to the police or other authorities, the disguised bastards might try to erase the evidence, so I decide to meet you all directly",, Justin said as he threw the half cut body of a human lizard. The entire hall turned silent seeing a body of half cutted human lizard.

There is utter silence in the white house. The leaders in the room exchanged uneasy glances, their expressions a mix of disbelief and concern.

Justin thought the leaders would do something about it or rather become tense or panicked, but, on the contrary, the leaders inside suddenly started laughing like mad as if they had heard the world's funniest joke.The leaders laughter and nonchalant reaction to Justin's shocking revelation about the existence of shape-shifting lizard humans deeply unsettled him, hinting at a dark conspiracy a conspiracy he never wanted to become true. The leaders' chilling laughter and dismissive reaction to Justin's discovery revealed the unsettling truth - they were not merely aware of the lizard human conspiracy, but were likely active participants in it, a shocking realization that shook Justin to the core.

"Haha hahaha.. ooo poor little guy from various places in the world you decided to come here, hahaha haahaha" a leader said laughing.

"Oh my my .. this guy has the worst luck in this world.. Haha, ha" another leader said.

"What's so funny about it" Justin said coldly.

"Its funny because you just came to the lion's den reporting a tiger" the cold voice of the chairperson, echoes and at the same time, his body started growing scales, his eyes turned like snake eyes and his body grew in size with a large tail. Not only him, all the people, excluding Justin inside the White House, turned into reptilian creatures. Justin's worst fears had been confirmed - the leaders of the world were not merely aware of the lizard human conspiracy, but we're the very preparator of this dark and sinister plot.
