Uzi, a short human girl, was getting ready for an event she has to go to with her dad. It was about the HDF (Human defense force). It was a dinner meeting to talk about the new threat, what they like to call, werewolves. They are human-like creatures with wolf ears and tail, they have retractable claws, and retractable wings. They just appeared one day and murdered a bunch of people, including Uzi's mom.
//Uzi's POV//
Debating whether or not I should be formal tonight. This black dress with hints of dark purple, or what I usually wear. 'Nah, I'm not gonna change anything' I decided as I walked out, grabbing my beanie on the way. I put it on as I walked towards my dad. "Ready" I said as he looked me up and down. He didn't care, so we started towards the meeting room. "Hey Uzi!" A lot of people called my name. I sat down, like everyone else, and the meeting started.
//POV end//
"So, what we all know is we've been trying to build a silver door keep the werewolves out. We've been attempting for years. We already have a door, but they could still pry it open if fast enough" Khan explained, his daughter losing focus from time to time. "Why don't we just, ya know, kill them" Uzi said, looking around at all the other humans (was about to type worker drones 😭). Everyone immediately started criticizing her, even her dad. Uzi didn't care though, this is normal for her. "Uzi, why don't you step outside. Maybe I shouldn't have brought you with me..." Khan said, gesturing for her to leave. Uzi knew he meant just to go out in the hall and wait, but she just decided to go outside of the colony. It was dangerous since it was night. It's when the werewolves come out for hunting, but the small human didn't really care how dangerous.
She walked to her favorite spot, an open field that she could lay down on and watch the stars. Yes, it was uncomfortably close to the forest, aka werewolf territory, but she had a gun and sliver bullets. She collapsed onto the ground, staring up at the black, star filled sky.
//N's POV//
There she is again! My favorite human! I don't really know why she's my favorite, but I sense something different about her. She was really pretty, but that's not why. I know it sounds creepy, but whenever she comes out of her colony, I like to just watch and see what she does. She usually lays down on that spot and watch the stars. I hear her say things, she calls herself an "angsty, rebellious teen". Yet again, she does seem like that. I sometimes wanna go talk to her, but she's supposed to be my prey. That's at least what J and V say. She also has a gun, and I can see the tiny silver bullets next to it. I usually hide up in the trees, out of sight. This time, I'm just behind a tree. I sniff the air only to be greeted by the smell of treats? Biscuits, maybe. I can't tell, but they smell delicious! I know stealing isn't a good thing to do, but I can't just ask...
I snuck up behind her, thankfully she wasn't laying down this time, I won't be spotted unless she turns around. I grab the bag quietly and look through it, finding some treats! I quickly take the treats and set the bag back down. I quietly run off, back into the forest. Probably shouldn't have done that!
//Uzi's POV//
I swear I heard something behind me...I turn around to see nothing there. I look at my bag, that was now opened. "Seriously!" I said, as I realized I have been robbed. But who would come out this late? "Whatever, I still have these" I said as I pulled out a box of cheese itz.
//No POV//
After finishing the bag of whatever treat it was, N's wings came out, and he flew up into the trees, looking for his favorite human. He spotted her and decided to land behind her, not realizing the loud sound it made. Uzi quickly turned around to see N staring down at her. They just stared at each other for a while, 'till N decided to break the silence. "Uh...hi!" He said. Uzi grabbed her gun and loaded it "if you try anything, I won't hesitate" she said, holding up her gun. "I won't!" N said, holding up his hands and surrendering. "What do you want?" Uzi asked, as her eyes narrowed at the tall werewolf. "Uh, I just wanna talk" N explained, his voice was full of honesty. Uzi could tell he was being genuine, so she lowered the gun, but kept her guard up. "K..."
