Chuuya had made sure that Dazai wouldn't leave his line of sight whilst at the store, because he just knew the dumbass was going to cause some type of trouble. They were there for approximately thirty minutes, as he already had a mental list of what they needed. Once he payed and got out of there, with Dazai trailing after him with a pout, they loaded their bags into the car (thank Mori for giving him the keys and not Dazai).
While Chuuya knew it was risky to drive a car in the streets of Musutafu, he could care less. It's not like these people would let him freely use his ability out in public, not like in Yokohama. He felt a twitch in his brow at the thought. Yokohama was way better than the rest of Japan- than Musutafu ever will be. His hometown may have been dangerous and wild, but at least it wasn't the ugly black and white that he sees in every corner here. Maybe that was why All for One had so much power, because of the division of powers and the people who got too used to it.
It made no sense to him, how people could be so... blinded by the way their society was flawed.
Well... whatever. Not his problem, anyways. All he had to worry about what getting All Might and that damn successor of his (if he really has chosen one, that is) to honor the contract placed by their predecessors. At least it wouldn't take long... he sure as hell hoped.
Sighing rather harshly, he ignored how the mummy besides him poked his arm and whispered his name. If he ignored him, he'll either go away, or he'll stop... or he would do it even more. Chuuya wasn't going to risk being bugged more than he already was. Groaning slightly, he turned to look at him, seeing that they weren't going anywhere with the crazy traffic.
"What."
"Oh, my dog's finally paying me attention!"
"I will leave you on the side of the road, Dazai. What do you want."
Dazai smiled, a smile that made Chuuya's stomach churn. It was... so gentle- it almost didn't fit the boy's face. It didn't fit who he was, what he was. Why was he smiling like that? What did he do? Was Chuuya going to die?
"Turn to your right, Chuuya."
Doing so, albeit confused, Chuuya turned his head, just in time to see some child with unruly green hair run into... slime? What the fuck was he watching?
The child threw his backpack at the slime, and that's when the second child caught Chuuya's eye. He blinked, bewildered at the scene right in front of them. Was this why there was so much traffic? Because two kids were fighting off a villain while numerous heroes stood by and watched?
"Fan-fucking-tanstic. Great. What am I looking at, exactly? All I see are a bunch of heroes neglecting to do their jobs."
Chuuya turned to look back at the brunet.
"...Where did he..."
Oh no.
Oh no.
No, no, no, no
Chuuya was going to KILL him.
All it took was him leaving his sight for two seconds, before Dazai sneakily left the car and wondered off to, most likely, the villain attack. He hissed, stopped the car completely, putting it on break and taking the keys with him. If Dazai was going to do what he thought he was going to do, Chuuya needed to be there to assist him, else Mori would be pissed off.
