The day was passing very slowly for Kashi today. she was getting bored sitting in the room. Shivansh didn't even let Kashi come down the bed. She looked around to make sure that Shivansh isn't there.
She removed her blanket and then came down the bed. She came to the window and started to look at the sunset.
Kashi sat down by the window, lost in thought, when she noticed movement in the shadows outside. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw figures approaching the estate, moving with a silent precision that sent a chill down her spine.
"Kashi?" Shivansh's voice broke her trance as he entered the room, noticing her tense expression. "Shivansh, there's something out there. I saw people—too many of them." Kashi whispered, her voice trembling.
Shivansh's eyes narrowed, his instincts immediately on high alert. "Stay here." he ordered, moving swiftly to the door. But Kashi grabbed his arm. "I'm coming with you." she insisted, her voice firm despite her fear. Shivansh hesitated, then nodded. "Alright, but stay close." he said.
As they moved through the palace, Shivansh quickly assembled the family. Bhairav, Akshita, Dada Hukum, and the others gathered in the central hall, their faces lined with concern. Jai Singh, Shivansh's trusted bodyguard, appeared at the doorway, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword.
"Jai, what's happening?" Bhairav asked, his voice steady despite the tension in the air. Jai glanced at Shivansh before answering, "We're under attack. Arjun's men—they're here." said Jai.
Gasps filled the room as the family processed the gravity of the situation. "How many?" Dada Hukum demanded. "Too many. But we'll fight them off. We've handled worse." Jai replied, his voice grim.
"Everyone, prepare yourselves. Kashi, Maa, you stay here with Dada Hukum. The rest of us will defend the estate." said Shivansh. "No, I'm not hiding while you all fight. I can help." Kashi protested, stepping forward.
Shivansh looked at her, seeing the determination in her eyes, and reluctantly agreed. "Fine, but you stay behind us." said Shivansh.
The family dispersed, each person moving to their designated positions. Shivansh, Jai, and Bhairav took the lead, armed and ready. The air was thick with tension as they waited, every sound magnified in the stillness of the night.
Suddenly, the silence was shattered by the sharp crack of gunfire. Arjun's men had breached the perimeter, and the battle began in earnest. The once peaceful estate was now a battleground, echoing with the sounds of clashing steel and the bark of orders.
Shivansh and Jai led the charge, their movements precise and lethal. Shivansh's sword flashed in the dim light as he cut through the first wave of attackers. "Stay focused!" he shouted, his voice carrying over the chaos. "Protect the family at all costs!" said Shivansh.
Jai, wielding his weapon with deadly efficiency, nodded in agreement. "We'll hold them off, but we need to take out their leaders. That's the only way to stop this." said Jai.
Meanwhile, Bhairav and Vedant fought side by side, defending the entrance to the palace. "Don't let them inside! If they get in, it's over!" Bhairav roared, blocking a blow aimed at Vedant
Vedant nodded, his face set in determination. "We won't let them through, Baba. We'll fight them back!" said Vedant.
Inside the palace, Kashi, Akshita, and Dada Hukum were not idle. Akshita had armed herself with a bow, her aim steady as she picked off attackers from a distance. Kashi, using a smaller sword she had found, defended the door to the hall where they had taken shelter.
