This confuse him like a lot for what he just saw in the dream for what he witness like something else is alive and whatever he just saw...he definitely knew it before.
Tanjiro was having a bad dream in the sleep when he was woke up in the morning and make him is going to take a long sleep for what he seen some kind of dream like battle cries out in the battlefield...guns, swords, and lot of things in his own mind. Then Tanjiro is finally awake up in the morning and make him realize that he had a nightmare in his head...and he just see some kind of dreams about the characters what does looks like.
Tanjiro: "*Man, I have no idea how long I've been sleeping like this.*" He thought himself and make him heard from his mother Kie.
Kie: "Tanjiro-kun, how is your sleeping?" She asked him.
Tanjiro: "I'm fine...anyway I'm going to eat the breakfast and get some works." He said to her and make her nod her head and she told him that he need to get hurrying up before the rocks were run out of there...need some fires and woods as well. Then Tanjiro was prepare to eat the foods and ready to move out and then Kie told her elder son to take his brother with him.
Takeo wants to follow him because he can helping his brother out and then here comes the two of them went to the village or town that they both are heading out to somewhere and buy the rocks or woods. Then Takeo who helping his elder brother Tanjiro out with the other things that he can help him with anything moves around here by himself until the two of them are alone walk in the town by themselves.

Then Tanjiro know the books can be translate to be Japanese...but Zelretch buy the books can be translate to be Japanese and seems to be Tanjiro understood about the history of heroes and tell his young brother about the story.
