Inuyasha and Darien grew up like brothers they were the best of friends since they were kids, they always had each other's back, and they shared everything, they did everything together, until they both reached the age of 14, and they were separated...
Inuyasha had known Darien his whole life and he truly trusted him and loved him as a brother, so when they ran into each other again.
He got to meet Darien's wife Serena. She was out looking for a job. She had been trying to get into an office job as an assistant or something, and Inuyasha was willing to give her a chance. So, he hired her as his helper.
Darien didn't mind it at all, he was glad that he was willing to give his girl a chance. But Kagome and Darien both worked at the same hospital.
They had hit off right off the bat. They had hundreds of things in common. They worked endless hours together and barely had much of a home life half the time.
Inuyasha didn't know about Kagome cheating on him at all, he assumed that his marriage was happy and they were doing just fine he tried to make sure he paid as much attention to her as possible, Inuyasha truly wanted Kagome to know how much he loves her and truly cares about her, and she was the most important person in his life, but behind his back, Kagome was still cheating on him, she continued to have a secret affair behind his back without him knowing about it.
Every time he left for work Kagome found ways around her busy schedule to mess around with Serena's husband Darien.
But Inuyasha did sense that she was distant from him recently. Inuyasha put two and two together he just assumed she was just stressed out with work too just like he was they both had their stressful schedules.
But he tried to ignore it and put his mind to his job and his work.
He worked hard for his boss, and he was good at what he did, he got a promotion.
Inuyasha walked towards the office. Serena was stressed out, but she was working super hard. She told him he had a call from his boss, and a few others that he needed to return.
As she also told him a meeting had been pushed back an hour, and the men they were supposed to meet with were stuck in traffic and wouldn't be here on time.
As she also lifted her hand to give him his favorite coffee. He grabbed the cup and said thanks. As she looked at him and noticed he seemed a bit stressed. As he walked into his office.
Serena got up about an hour later after she finished typing up a letter and sent it to some other clients and others they were in business with.
She walked into Inuyasha's office, he was squeezing his stress ball, he was feeling something was going on. Serena asks if he is alright. He turned and looked at her.
He told her, it's fine, he can handle his own home life, and she is only needed here at work, Said Inuyasha" Seriously.
"Ah, got ya, Sorry, sir, would you like me to run out and grab lunch for you today? Asked Serena" seriously.

"You know what, why don't we go out to lunch together, Said Inuyasha" Seriously.
"Sure, I guess, I mean your meeting is later on at 3:30 pm so, we have time, it's only 12:30 and half the staff is on lunch break, Said Serena" looking over his Schedule.
