Chapter 3. Confusion and loneness.

Serena was in the hospital for hours, Darien wasn't there he had been in surgery he claimed, in another wing and no one else to take his spot, so Inuyasha helped Serena with the delivery and helped her welcome her daughter into the world. 

Rini was born. Inuyasha and Serena bonded for a few days. As Darien came in the next morning, He thanked Inuyasha for staying. As Kagome said she was exhausted can they go home now. Inuyasha nodded yes. "He said his farewells. 

Serena did thank him for getting her here so fast. Darien thanked him too, for taking care of his wife. Inuyasha nodded. But the truth of the matter, Darien and Kagome were in surgery but there was still time they could have made it before Serena pushed Rini out. But they chose to have sex in the restrooms in the hospital and have a shower together. But either way they both were still continuing to have their secret affair with each other without Inuyasha or Serena knowing about it. 

Serena had left work for a few weeks, and then getting back into shape and the mind set to go back to work, but she worked hard as a mother, Darien was interested in his daughter for maybe 3 days and then he put all the workload of motherhood onto her, he had to work, and he can't take the time off. 

But anyways. 2 years had passed by. Serena worked super hard for Inuyasha. She and Inuyasha grew super close together. They did a lot of traveling and business trips.

Serena was forced to get a nanny, and Darien took care of Rini during those trips too. But Serena was with Rini a lot otherwise. She spent a lot of time with her baby girl. 

But now lately he hasn't wanted anything to do with her, she's tried to be romantic with him she's tried to be sweet, she even made one of his favorite meals.

All of her efforts had gone out the window he tried everything she could think of every trick in the book she even asked her friends to help her go shopping for something sexy to wear, and she even put the candles in the bedroom, she tried to recreate their honeymoon, she tried everything in her power to make him happy, and he didn't budge at all, he told her he had a horrible headache, he wasn't feeling well, he didn't want to do this right now, he apologized and put on the biggest act of feeling sick that night, he wasn't feeling sexual lately at least that's what he kept telling her.

She began to worry about him, and she said they should go to a doctor, and that maybe he was unwell, she took his health very seriously and this concerned her, she was becoming worried.

Darien just said no, he was fine he is a doctor and there was nothing wrong with him.

Serena trying to focus on both Homelife, and work and she hoped she hadn't made him feel isolated from her, she had tried to keep up with the romantic stuff in their relationship, and he said it wasn't her, it was not always about her, not every bloody thing in the world is about her it was about him he told her.

He snapped at her and left upset and walked out slamming the door shut.

Serena felt so awkward around him lately, she missed him.

But lately, they purposely seemed to be getting into fights, or he was purposely starting fights with her just so they didn't have to have sex.

Of course, on the other end, someone else wasn't getting anything either.

Kagome too was barely able to keep up this lie anymore, of course, her husband after all these years, had been waiting all these years and she still hadn't let him have a baby, she kept finding reasons that she didn't want to step back in the fifties as she called it, she didn't want to be just a housewife, she liked her career, she liked the way her body looks, she didn't want to have kids right now.
