A friend in need is a friend indeed

*Zoe's POV*
I'm very excited. I'm finally gonna have a squirtle of my own. I just need to go and pick up Paul, we two are neighbours you know. Then we go to Leaf's house and finally an adventure with squirtle.
I went to Paul's house got him out. He's actually sad to leave his little sister, April. We two were walking on the foot path as I noticed Paul look quite sad. He loves April a lot. She's just 2 year old. "Its okay Paul" I comforted him. "We will definitely be coming back here in".
"Thanks Zoe" he gave a weak smile.
We finally reached Leaf's house . We have been greeted well by her parents . "Good your here" Leaf's dad said " Red is here too. Just stay here for a while and then you could leave"
"Ok.. I'm so excited. Can I have something to eat ? I'm so hungry." Paul said. "Sure" Leaf's mom said "get to Leaf's room and I'll be back with something delicious"
Thank god Red is here. I could get my squirtle quick.
We reached her room. We both were just glaring into the floor of her room. "What!!?" Paul was really surprised.
"What happened? "I asked to Paul. Then I saw what he was, Red was crying? He never cries. The last time I've seen him cry was perhaps when we were just four. He was crying a lot while Leaf was comforting him. "It's okay Red. Stop crying,you're not a baby anymore" Leaf said as Red continuous to cry.
"What happened?" I finally asked
"Oh you two are here. Good Red's really needs company" Leaf said
"Why are you crying Red?" Paul asked curious
Instead of answering Red continuous to cry. "Well, we have been watching TV just now and we found out that there will be a Pokemon function in Viridian City." Leaf spoke. " That's good. But what's the need to cry Red?" I asked
"I'm not completed" Leaf said annoyed ." Unfortunately , that day is actually the day Red's father passed away." She said sadly. Red started crying even more now. No one except his mom, Leaf, Paul and I know how much Red misses his dad. "It's okay Red " I went to him, Paul followed " don't worry, you're not alone and you know that, so stop crying like a baby. Leaf's mom might just be coming to serve us something to eat, and then we can start our adventure "I said. Red stopped crying as he remembered we had a Pokemon adventure coming ahead. "Yeah," he said as he smiled
