Friends do this... Right?(Fluff)

I was sitting against a tree, reading a book, with my hand running through my Grookey's soft fur. Grookey gently hummed. This book was very boring. I wonder where Ash is? I was about to stand up to go inside when a stick fell from the tree above me. I quickly looked up and saw my bestfriend, sitting on one of the sturdy branches, staring down at me. He honestly looked very creepy, like he hasn't taken his eyes off me.

   "A-Ash?! How long have you been there?!" I stammered, flustered. He grinned and hopped down from the tree, as he fell, he put his hands on my shoulder for support. 

   "A looooooooong time!" He laughed. Him admitting to of been watching me for a while made me embarrassed. Why? I have had a crush on him ever since I met him, so almost two years! And during that time, we have only cotton closer. He is very clingy, but I figured he shows affection through touch. I want to tell him I like him, but last time I checked, he's straight. So I can't.

   Ash plomped down next me me and snatched my book from my hands. I was very annoyed, "Ash.."

   Ash snickered and rubbed himself into my shoulder, "Awh but you know you would rather hang out with me!" He batted his eyelashes teasingly. That made my whole face burn up.

   I playfully shoved him off, "Okay! Fine! I will hang out with you!" I gave him a small smile. He was acting extra clingy today, I didn't know if I liked it or not.

   "Good!" Hey said. Then he smiled at Grookey, "Hey Grookey? Me and Goh are going to the beach! How about you go hang out with Pikachu in the sanctuary?" I blushed because he wanted to hang out, just the two of us. Grookey chirped, and ran off to the direction of the sanctuary.

   Ash gave a sigh, "Great! Now we won't have to worry about pokemon!" He smiled. Then he leapt to his feet and took my hand. We ran off to the direction of the beach.

   Once we got to the beach, Ash fell onto the warm sand. I grinned and did the same. He started making sand angels. I laughed at his struggle to keep the shape of the sand angels. We talked for a half hour before the sun started to set. 

    Ash gasped at the sun slowly setting under the horizon. "Beautiful isn't it?!" he grinned at me.

   "Breathe taking" I muttered as the sky changed to bright pink. I tried to stand up, to stretch my legs, but Ash grabbed my wrist. I looked down at him, and his cheeks were bright pink. I felt my cheeks warm up at the contact. He jerked me down back next to him. After a second, his hand still on my wrist, he rested his head on my shoulder. I blushed and tried to act calm. But Ash slid his hand down my wrist, and into my hand. 

    After a minute He whispered into my ear, "Can I sit in your lap like Grookey?" that sent a chill down my spine and I was as red as a tomato. 

   "Eh- yeah! Sure!" I stuttered. This is really happening. Wow. I can't believe it. Ash slid off my shoulder and laid his head on my lap. I glared up into the sky, trying to hide my face. ash smiled down at me. He was very cute. I couldn't believe my crush is laying in my lap. He wrapped his arms around me and I decided to reach for his hair. 

   As I ran my hands through his hair, I felt him shiver. Maybe I was embarrassing him. But then I realised it was getting cold. So I laid down in the sand, and he crawled up into my arm and rested his head in the crevice between my chin and shoulders. 

   His arms were now crawling up and down my back, into my hair, and on my neck. I held him tight to my chest, as he snuggled in.

   Then the thought came to me, "Friends do this... Right?" I felt him pause, and he looked up at me.

   "Pfft- No!" He laughed. I laughed back even though I was screaming inside. He was so soft and snuggly. I wanted to hold him forever.

   We didn't do much after that. We basically just sat their, arm in arm, as we watched the sky. But now we are in out bedroom,in our pajamas. Ash was sitting on his bottom bunk, and we were chatting, as though nothing happened. Ash said "Its late, we should go to bed" 

   I got up, lifted his covers, and crawledin, "Okay!" His face turned a deep shade of crimson, and I, blushing intensely, was happy to see his reaction. He rolled over, and I grinned at him, "What? No goodnight kiss?" I laughed.

   I wasn't being serious, but he sat up, and cupped my cheeks. I was now as red as a tomato. He then crashed his lips sloppily into mine, and bit my bottom lip. I hummed, pleased, but shocked. He let go, with his hands still on my cheeks. I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck. 

   After that, I knew we were boyfriends. And he wrapped his legs around my side, and I cuddled him as we drifted off to sleep, i muttered in pleasure with his legs around my side, "I love you~" 

   He tightened his grip around me, trying to smooth us closer than possible, "I love you too~"

   

  Hey guys! Sato here! I know I have been making a lot of content, as I already am in the making of two fanfics. But, I realised writing short stories will help improve my writing! And what's better than writing about things you love? And it being a new story each time is overwhelmingly helping with my ADD. I hope you enjoyed this! And If you were wondering, Sato isn't my real name, I am not comfortable with people knowing my name here, so I chose Sato, because Satoshi/Ash is my comfort characters ter, and I thought it was cute.
