IN THE MORNING}

The first morning in the new dorm was an odd mix of excitement and grogginess. I woke up early, my alarm blaring insistently. With a yawn, I rolled out of bed and started getting ready for my first day of classes. As I pulled on a pair of jeans and a comfy sweater, I glanced at the clock—it was already getting close to the time I needed to head out.

While I was brushing my teeth, I heard some noise coming from Jungkook's side of the room. I turned and saw him emerging from his bed, looking as though he had just woken up. He stretched, looking surprisingly refreshed for someone who'd just rolled out of bed.

"Good morning!" I called out, trying to sound cheerful despite my lack of caffeine. "Ready for the first day?"

Jungkook gave me a friendly smile as he pulled on a jacket. "Morning! Yeah, I'm almost ready. I see we both have English first period, right?"

I nodded, brushing the last of the toothpaste from my mouth. "Yeah, that's right. I'm actually kind of nervous."

He laughed lightly and walked over to my side of the room. "How about we walk to class together? It's always nice to have someone to chat with on the first day."

I appreciated the offer. It seemed like a good way to start the day and ease any lingering nerves. "That sounds great. Thanks!"

A few minutes later, we were both ready to head out. Jungkook offered to carry the bulk of the stuff I needed for the day, which was a nice touch. As we walked through the dorm building and out into the crisp morning air, we talked about our schedules, our expectations for the class, and even a bit about our favorite books.

The walk was surprisingly pleasant, and Jungkook's easy conversation helped calm my nerves. By the time we reached the English building, I felt much more prepared for the day ahead. Jungkook gave me a reassuring smile as we parted ways to find our seats in the classroom.

"Good luck!" he called out, and I waved back, feeling grateful for his company.

It was a small but meaningful gesture, and it made the first day of school feel just a little bit less daunting.

After our English class wrapped up, I was feeling pretty good about how the day had started. Jungkook and I had managed to find our way through the first period together, and the class had gone smoothly.

As we walked out of the classroom and into the bustling hallway, Jungkook caught up to me with an eager grin. "Hey, so there's this party happening tonight," he began, casually slipping his hands into his pockets. "I was thinking it could be fun if you joined me. What do you say?"

I raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised but definitely intrigued. "A party? That sounds cool. What's the occasion?"

He shrugged nonchalantly, though his eyes sparkled with mischief. "Just a chance to unwind and meet some new people. Plus, it'd be nice to have some company."

I chuckled, noting the way he was looking at me. "Alright, I'm in. What should I wear?"

Jungkook gave a playful smirk. "Something comfortable, but a little stylish wouldn't hurt. You know, just in case you want to make an impression."

I felt a slight blush creep up, realizing he was flirting a bit. "I'll keep that in mind. What time does it start?"

"It's at eight. I can swing by and pick you up around seven if that works for you."

"Sounds good," I replied, feeling a bit flustered but excited. "I'll be ready."

As we continued down the hall, Jungkook slowed his pace and walked closer to me. "I'm really glad we met, you know. It's nice to have someone to hang out with who's not just a face in the crowd."

I smiled, feeling a warm glow at his words. "I'm glad too. I think tonight will be a lot of fun."

With that, we parted ways, and I headed back to my dorm, already thinking about what to wear and how the evening might unfold. Jungkook's invitation and his flirtatious remarks had added a touch of excitement to my day, and I was looking forward to seeing where the evening would lead.

When I met up with my friends later that afternoon, I couldn't wait to tell them about Jungkook's party invitation. We were gathered at our usual hangout spot, and as soon as we settled in, I launched into the news.

"So, guess what?" I said, unable to hide my excitement. "Jungkook invited me to a party tonight, and he's even picking me up!"

My friends' eyes widened with interest. "No way! That's amazing!" one of them exclaimed. "What are you going to wear?"

I shrugged, feeling a bit unsure. "I was thinking of something stylish but still comfortable. But I honestly don't know what to pick."

One of my friends, Mia, immediately jumped up. "We have to go shopping! You need a perfect dress for this."

Her enthusiasm was infectious, and soon we were all in agreement. We decided to hit the mall to find something that would make me feel both confident and comfortable for the evening.

The shopping trip was a whirlwind of excitement. We started at a trendy boutique, trying on various dresses and experimenting with different styles. My friends gave enthusiastic feedback, helping me choose between a few standout options. After trying on several dresses, I finally found one that felt just right—a sleek, navy blue dress that was both elegant and a bit playful.

The dress had a flattering cut, perfect for a night out. I twirled in front of the mirror, and my friends' approving nods confirmed that it was the one.

"This is definitely the one," Mia said with a grin. "You're going to look amazing."

We spent a little more time picking out accessories and a pair of stylish shoes to complete the look. By the time we left the mall, I felt excited and ready for the evening.

When I got back to my dorm, I couldn't wait to try on the dress with everything else. The outfit came together perfectly, and I felt confident and excited for the party.

As the evening approached and Jungkook was about to pick me up, I took one last look in the mirror, feeling a rush of anticipation. Thanks to my friends and their help, I was ready to enjoy the party and make the most of this unexpected but exciting opportunity.
