The new dorms at school are finally ready, and I just got my room assignment today. I've been hearing about these dorms for months—how they're supposed to be so much better than the old ones, with more space, better lighting, and even some updated amenities. As soon as I got the notification, I grabbed my things and headed over to check it out.

The building itself is impressive, definitely a step up from the previous one. It's got a modern vibe with big windows and sleek design. When I walked inside, I noticed how bright and open the lobby was, with places to sit and even a little café area off to the side. The elevators were fast, and I was on my floor in no time.

My room is on the third floor, and as soon as I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised. The room feels so much bigger than I expected. There's plenty of space for my bed, desk, and even a small sofa. The window lets in a ton of natural light, making the whole room feel airy and inviting. The best part? The storage. There are built-in shelves and a decent-sized closet, which means I won't have to live out of a suitcase this year.

As I started unpacking, I couldn't help but think how much more comfortable this year is going to be compared to the last. The air conditioning actually works, and the Wi-Fi signal is strong in every corner of the room. Plus, I found out there's a communal lounge just down the hall with a big-screen TV and some comfy seating, so it looks like it'll be the new hangout spot for me and my friends.

All in all, I'm really excited about this new dorm. It's not just a place to sleep—it's actually somewhere I can see myself enjoying and making the most of my time at school. Now that I'm all settled in, I can't wait to start the year and see what other surprises this place has in store.

As I was unpacking the last of my things, I heard a knock on the door. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I figured it was probably someone from down the hall introducing themselves. When I opened the door, I was completely surprised to see Jeon Jungkook standing there with a small suitcase and a casual smile.

For a second, I just stared, unsure if I was seeing things. Jungkook was a name I knew well, but seeing him here, in my new dorm, was a shock. It took a moment for it to sink in, but when it did, I realized he must be my new dorm mate.

"Hey," he said, his voice friendly and relaxed. "Looks like we're roommates."

I must've looked a bit taken aback because he let out a small chuckle. I quickly stepped aside to let him in, trying to process what was happening. As he walked in, he casually placed his things on the other bed, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

He glanced around the room before turning back to me with a grin. "I hope you don't mind sharing the space."

I shook my head, still trying to wrap my mind around it. "No, of course not. It's just a surprise, that's all."

Jungkook shrugged, clearly relaxed about the whole situation. "I'm just looking forward to settling in and getting to know the place. I'll try not to be a bother."

As we started talking, it became clear that Jungkook was easygoing and friendly. He asked about the best spots on campus, and we ended up chatting about everything from our classes to favorite late-night snacks. The initial surprise faded quickly, and I began to feel more at ease.

Before long, we were getting into a rhythm, with Jungkook playing some music as he finished unpacking. The situation still felt a bit surreal, but it was also becoming a bit more familiar.

It's wild to think that I ended up sharing a dorm room with Jungkook, but now that he's here, I have a feeling this year is going to be full of new experiences and unexpected moments.

After a few hours 💟

As the evening rolled in, I started getting ready for bed. After a long day of unpacking and settling in, I was looking forward to winding down and hitting the sack. I changed into my pajamas and brushed my teeth, feeling relieved to finally have some downtime.

The dorm room had a shared bathroom, and since I was about to head to bed, I decided to quickly use it one last time before turning in. I knocked softly on the door, but there was no response, so I assumed it was empty. I turned the handle and walked in without giving it much thought.

As I entered, I was immediately met with the sight of Jungkook, who had apparently decided to use the bathroom at the same time. He was standing in front of the mirror, towel draped over his shoulders, his hair wet from a recent shower. For a split second, we both froze, eyes wide with surprise.

"Oh, sorry!" I stammered, quickly turning around and pulling the door shut behind me. My face was burning with embarrassment, and I could hear Jungkook's muffled laughter through the door.

A few moments later, I heard the door open again. Jungkook stood there, now dressed in a comfortable shirt and sweatpants, his hair still a bit damp. He looked amused but not at all upset. "It's okay. I should've locked the door. My bad."

I let out a nervous laugh, feeling a mix of relief and awkwardness. "No worries. I should've knocked louder or something."

Jungkook waved it off with a friendly smile. "No big deal. Happens to the best of us. I guess we're both still getting used to this place."

We both chuckled, and the awkwardness seemed to dissolve. It was a minor mishap, but it definitely made for an interesting start to our dorm life. After a few more words and a casual exchange of goodnights, I finally made my way to bed, feeling a bit more at ease about sharing the space with Jungkook.
