KALI IS IN THE twinkie with Kie, Sarah, and Lucy trying figure out the drawing that was made by Pope for how to get the gold out of the well. "he said it looked something like this. Thats 50 feet down, and they're using 100-feet rope. So i guess this little wagon will go.." Sarah laughs causing Kie and Kali to let out a small laugh "..straight to the gold room." Kie finishes laughing a bit.

"Who drew this" Sarah says laughing and Kali laughs and looks to her "who else" she says before turning to look at Pope. He looks at Kali with a small smile before John B catches his attention again. "You know Lii we still don't know what happened between you and Pope like the summer before last I think." Lucy says looking to the curly haired girl next to her and Kali just looks to the ground.

That summer was the best and worst time of her life. She had so many good memories with Pope but because of how it ended she had so many bad ones too. "Nothing important happened. It was just something stupid but I'm over it now.." Kali says looking to the blonde girl in front of her with a small smile.

"Kie, this better work" JJ says walking from the château to the twinkie before dropping the he gold pieces on the floor of the car. "We can't pawn this is there's a giant wheat symbol on it." Kie picks up a blowtorch and looks at JJ "it's going to work."

The teens all gather around to where Kie is melting the gold bars. Kali smiles at Sarah and John B before looking back to her sister. Once Kie was done with the gold the group of seven all went to a pawn shop.

They get out of the car go to walk to the doors of the pawn shop "Hell of a job melting it down Dr. Frankenstein." JJ says to Kie "like you could've done better." She says and JJ turns to her "I could've done much better. I took a welding class" "when" Kie says before John B interrupts them and Kali just rolls her eyes. "guys chill out ok." John B says "easy for you to say when you're not the one who has to pawn this piece of shit off. How did I get this job anyway." JJ says walking to the pawn shop.

"You're the best liar." Pope says and Lucy hums in agreement "yea but why am I with him?" She asks "you're the chaperone" Sarah says jokingly. The teens walk in and in their planned groups with Kali and Pope on one side and Sarah, John B, and Kie on the other. Pope taps Kali's shoulder "look at this necklace..it's a hibiscus" Kali smiles softly "that's my favorite flower. you remembered" she says looking at the necklace then at Pope "well since we've already done some illegal stuff like breaking into someone's house um..maybe I could steal this for you."

Kali looks to Pope and then to the necklace "what? I can't ask you to do that! you have your merit scholarship and a whole life ahead of you I can't let you do that!" Pope looks around "Kali this would look amazing on you just try it on and then make your decision" he says and Kali sighs in defeat before turning around and lifting her hair so Pope can put it on her. "See, it was made for you." Kali looks at the necklace in the mirror and smiles. It did look nice on her and she liked that Pope was doing a nice thing for her. She turned to face him with a smile.

"Okay to be honest ma'am..it's really hard to see our mom fall apart with Alzheimer's." JJ says causing Kali to look at him and make a face "mhm..give me a minute." The pawnbroker says before walking towards the back of the shop. "Alzheimer's JJ? Seriously?" Kali says walking up to him "that's what I was thinking" Lucy says in agreement "it's the only thing I could think of!" JJ says defensively and Pope stands next to him "you're doing great buddy don't listen to them ok just make sure you get it for at least 140 thousand." Pope says before the lady walks out from the back.
