Leon

Eric, who's apparently Elena's boyfriend, finally gets up. It's honestly embarrassing how long it took him. I didn't even punch him that hard, I should've knocked him out. He notices how I'm standing protectively in front of Elena. That seemed to anger him even more. He starts walking towards me. I turn to my shoulder and shove him away. I wouldn't want Elena to see her boyfriend all bloodied and beaten up.

He falls yet again, this time with even more force. Next time he gets up, I'll have to knock his teeth in. Just hearing the way he talked to Elena made something in me switch. The way he was just grabbing and dehumanizing her made me want to kill him. Sure, he wasn't wrong. I'd love to grab Elena and have her scream my name in every room of my condo. But only if she'd let me. She didn't want him touching her and I had to do something.

Eric gets up once again, but this time Elena doesn't let him run up.

"Enough Eric!" She yells, stepping in front of me.

I panic a little, not putting it past him to hit her. I slightly graze her wrist, she flinches a bit. Once she notices it's me, she doesn't push me away. I observe Eric, not wanting him to direct his anger towards her.

"We are done! I want you out of here and out of my life," Elena quickly yells out. Like she's finally saying what's been on her chest. Jessica pulls on her sleeve, wanting her to be out of Eric's reach.

"You think you can get rid of me like that! Elena, you got another thing coming," Eric says spewing harsh words.

How can anybody talk to her in that tone? I notice Jessica is now taking Elena back to her place. She looks at Gale and gives him a slight nod.

"Alright man keep it moving. She told you to leave," Gale chimes in. He knows better than to let this fool keep talking.

"No, I'm still talking!" Eric yells.

That's when Gale and I start pushing him back, tired of this childish display. Elena has made it clear that she doesn't want this scumbag in her sight. We keep shoving him until he gets the hint. Eric seems to realize he wouldn't win in a fight between him and us.

"Get one thing clear, whatever your name is, Elena is mine," He says through his teeth.

"Yeah? We'll see about that," I say smirking.

He looks furious but knows it would be best to leave

Eric finally leaves and Gale and I make our way to the girls. We notice the trunk open and decide to bring in the bags for Elena.

"That guy is insane. I'm surprised he was even with Elena," Gale comments.

"Yeah, she deserves better than that," I answer honestly.

We grab the light bags and head to Elena's place. When we walk in, I can't help but look around. I know it might be an invasion of privacy since Elena didn't invite us in, but God, it smells good in here. The first thing I notice is all the fairy lights and plants everywhere, the air diffusers, and the lit candles. The apartment has such a cozy and warm feeling. She has beautiful earthy colors as a color scheme for her decor. Most of her walls are a creme color, but she has an exposed brick accent wall. It really does tie the whole place together. She has a bookshelf, that takes up a whole wall, full of books and glitter globes. She has a small light brown sofa with a matching coffee table.

I hear someone clear their throat and it's Jessica coming out of a room. She closes the door behind her and makes her way to the kitchen area.

"How is she?" I ask concerned about how Elena looked, leaving the scene Eric caused.
