Yawning, I realized I wasn't in my room.

"Huh? Where am I..?" Rubbing my eyes, feeling like a new person. Why do I feel so nice...I feel like I'm shining.

"Oh, right I had a sleep over with Charles. Where'd he go?" Climbing out of bed, I stretched and looked outside. Seeing Charles, he would be talking to some people.

"Oh, well there he is." I smiled and grabbed my clothes from yesterday. Ugh..this is kinda gross but I can't ask for day clothes that's too much. Looking back outside we'd make eye contact.

"Ah- how did he even see me" My face growing with that tingling hot feeling. I'd back away from the window and go into the bathroom to put on my clothes.

"Eli?" His voice called out to me. Opening the door. I smiled.

"Hey! Sorry I didn't mean to seem snoopy looking at you through the window..." Id say, my face growing warm. A comfortable warmth.

"Don't worry, I know. Those windows are huge anyway. I have morning classes today." He seemed to sparkle. So early in the morning. So mesmerizing! How does he do it!!

"I think today I have an afternoon class, I was gonna head home before I go to see my mom. She's probably worried." I laughed softly. Neatly setting the pajamas on the end of the bed.

"Thank you, for letting me borrow those and sleep over." Turning to him, I rubbed my neck.

"Of course. But next time maybe don't drool all over the pillow, especially the one i'm sleeping on." Laughing, he'd open his bedroom door and walk away.

"AH WHAT!? I DID WHAT!!" Running after him, my face hot.

"Oh nothing. Would you like me to drive you home? I got some time before I go to class." He smiled, turning around.

"You can't just change topic-" I groaned, frustrated. Seriously why did he say that. It's so embarrassing!

"Yes or no?" He crossed his arms, looking at me.

Why is he staring I feel so weird. "Ah..uhm no thank you, I can walk." I stood up straight and put my bag on correctly.

"You sure? It's like a 2 hour walk. It'll only take 15 minutes by car." He would turn around. I noticed his head seemed to be hung low. Was he..disappointed? Should I say yes?

"You know what I'll go with you!" I yelled not realizing I did. A soft warmth in my cheeks.

"Really! Yay!" He laughed and seemed to shine instantly.

"Thank you for taking me. I hope I didn't go out of your way." I got out and bent over to talk to him. His blonde hair seeming a brown color in the darker car.

"It's no problem. I'll text you if I need help with work or to study. You can text me for anything too." He would smile. Why is his smile so contagious. He's very handsome, I wish I could look at his smile forever.

Wait. What. Am. I. Thinking.

"Ah..of course bye bye!" I closed the door and hurried inside. My heart racing as I entered the kitchen to see mom cooking.

"Hey, mom. Sorry I didn't come home..I was having a...sleepover" I said, setting my stuff down. Hearing those words come out of my mouth sounds weird. I've never had a sleepover and I'm not a kid anymore. So weird.

"A sleepover? With the person who dropped you off?" She asked. Turning around. "Well who cares! I was so worried about youuuu!!" She ran up to me, hugging tightly.

"Ahh! Mommm..-" groaning, I hugged her back.

"He got me a phone.." I pulled out my phone and showed it to her. "He's very nice."
