You and your team leader, Mikey, somehow got warped through a wormhole and...welp you ended up in this weird region.
Pokémon fusion was considered...normal?

Of course, you guys were trying to find a path back home... But... It'd be nice to try doing what a majority of the people here do; fuse Pokémon together.
Especially with the flightless birds. Very especially with those.
You two were walking into some bushes, in some place called starter park? (I know it's not in the rom hack but just bear with me here)

Until, Mikey saw a starter he had in one of his previous journeys to the Sinnoh region.

Mikey pointed it out, practically squealing;
"Y/N, Y/N!!! LOOK!! IT'S A PIPLUP!! THOSE THINGS ARE UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE WONDERFUL GIFT OF FLIGHT SO WE SHOULD HELP IT!!!"
Mikey said, practically jumping up and down at this point, grinning ear to ear.
You looked at him a bit, well, absurdly before a soft smile crept on your face - in your defense, it's been a while since you've last seen him smile since...team night sky.
It was a nice change of pace after that, okay?
"Let's go give it the power Our Dear Lord Arceus didn't love enough to give it - the power of flight!!"
You boasted, Mikey nodded in agreement excitedly.
