Despite liking Noivern and finding it cute, Mikey honestly thought of you as a valuable team member.
Today, you and Mikey were on a mission to go and see a forest that apparently had an overabundance of flying types.

The trainer with yellow goggles called out to you, practically squealing.
"Wha-"
You were going to say, until your eyes landed upon the the several Corviknights, Archeops, Hoppips and other flying type treasures.
"ITS HEAVEN ON EARTHHHH"
Mikey whisper-yelled to you, crouching in the bushes with you, getting his pokéballs out.
"Mikey!!"
You suddenly called out to him, following to him jumping a little at your voice.
"What-"
Mikey asked, before he cut himself off as the smile on his face dropped as he saw what you were talking about.
It was a Noivern.
"Y/n, you could have set your eyes on the very cute flying types, since you like those, your team is LITERALLY filled of those, yet you chose to have THAT as your main focus???"
Mikey questioned you, he never understood how you find a goddamn NOIVERN cute.
"Well, whatever, I'm catching it, surely Ribbon would love a new friend!"
You snarkily said, grabbing a pokéball from your bag, subtly mentioning your first Noivern, aka Ribbon in the process.
"You're absolutely insane for choosing that as your favourite one, y/n."
Mikey jokingly said, his focus going back to the other flying types that were actually cute.
And not that thing you found cute for whatever reason.
He never really understood you in the first place, did he?
Well, whatever.
You were still fun as hell to be with,
Or atleast until you'd start gushing over a definitely not cute Pokémon.
