"Oh my god! Brittany's pregnant!" Santana blurted out as she hurried down the hallway, catching up with Hunter and Sam. She slipped in between them, her expression a mix of shock and amusement.

Hunter blinked, processing the news with wide eyes. "What?" he muttered, disbelief written all over his face. Without missing a beat, he turned to Tina, who was just passing by. "Oh my god! Brittany's pregnant!"

Tina's eyes went wide, her mouth falling open in surprise. She spun around to Puck and Zizes, who were strolling past, completely unaware of the commotion. "Oh my god! Brittany's pregnant!" she exclaimed breathlessly.

Puck raised an eyebrow, a smirk creeping onto his face as he shrugged casually. "It was only a matter of time," he said with a nonchalant air, as if he'd seen it coming.

Lauren, who was walking beside Puck, looked confused. "For what?" she asked, tilting her head.

"For Brittany to get pregnant," Puck replied, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh, congratulations!" Lauren said, her face lighting up with excitement, just as Artie rolled up beside them, catching the end of her comment.

"For what?" Artie asked, looking utterly lost, glancing from one person to the next in search of an explanation.

Zizes, never one to miss an opportunity, grinned wickedly. "Oh, you didn't hear? Your girlfriend's prego! You're gonna be a baby daddy," she announced, her voice dripping with mischief.

Artie's face drained of color, his jaw going slack. "Wait... what?!" he stammered, panic flashing across his face as the reality—or at least what he thought was reality—set in.

As the glee kids filed into the choir room, the buzz of conversation filled the air. Everyone took their usual spots, waiting for Mr. Schue to start the lesson. Hunter and Sam exchanged glances, still bemused by the whirlwind of rumors.

"All right, folks. Regionals is in a week. It's time to get deep into our set list," Mr. Schue announced with enthusiasm as he entered the room, his energy at odds with the swirling confusion amongst the students. Hunter had just taken his seat beside Sam when he noticed Artie, who looked like he'd just seen a ghost.

"Artie, you okay?" Mr. Schue asked, concern creeping into his voice as he noticed Artie's distressed expression.

"My life is over," Artie muttered, staring blankly ahead. "How am I supposed to support a baby? How could you not tell me about this?" His voice cracked with anxiety as he glanced over at Brittany.

Mr. Schue blinked, his brow furrowing in confusion. "Wait. Brittany, are you pregnant?" he asked, his tone now tinged with worry as the room fell silent.

"Definitely," Brittany replied with a frown, turning to Artie with a look of sympathy. "I'm so sorry, Artie. I didn't want to upset you. I thought I could surprise you when I dropped him off. Pretty sure it's a boy."

Hunter frowned, his confusion deepening as he leaned forward. "Um, babies don't get dropped off," he pointed out, his voice filled with uncertainty.

Mr. Schue, equally baffled, turned to Brittany. "Wait, Brittany, have you been to a doctor yet? That's the only way to be sure."

"I don't need to go to a doctor," Brittany said confidently, shaking her head as if the question were ridiculous. "I just need to look outside my window." Everyone in the room stared at her, trying to make sense of what she was saying. "Three days ago, a stork built its nest on top of my garage. I'm not stupid, it's obviously getting ready to bring me my baby. I know where babies come from."

Hunter let out a long, relieved breath, the tension in his body dissolving as he realized Brittany wasn't actually pregnant. He glanced over at Sam, their eyes meeting in a shared moment of disbelief. Both shook their heads, suppressing smiles at Brittany's sweet, albeit misguided, certainty.
