IM HERE, IM BACK IT TOOK 10 DAYS OF PAINFUL SCHOOL... BUT IM BACK ITH ANGST LIKE I SAID ANGST THURSDAY! SIT BACK GET SOME POPCORN DRIZZLE IT WITH NUETELLA BECAUSE WE GETTING SEASON 3 MACAQUE MK AND WUKONG ANGST!

The cavern was dark, shadows dancing across the walls as MK and Macaque stood together, side by side, facing an enemy they never thought they'd have to fight: Sun Wukong, their mentor and friend, now possessed by the Lady Bone Demon. MK's heart pounded in his chest, each thud echoing the fear and uncertainty coursing through his veins. His hands trembled around the Golden Staff, its weight feeling unfamiliar and heavy, like he wasn't worthy to wield it.

Beside him, Macaque's expression was unreadable, his six ears twitching, attuned to every sound and movement in the cave. He had been through so much with Wukong—betrayal, resentment, and finally a fragile truce that had only just begun to heal old wounds. Now, seeing the Monkey King like this, eyes glowing with cold, unfeeling light, was like a punch to the gut.

"Stay focused, kid," Macaque whispered, though there was an unusual softness in his tone. He could see MK's fear, the doubt that clouded his usually bright eyes. "We'll get him back. We have to."

MK nodded, swallowing hard. "Yeah... yeah, we'll get him back." But his voice wavered, and for a moment, he wasn't sure he believed it himself. His mentor—his hero—stood before him, twisted into something dark and terrible. The idea of fighting Wukong was almost too much to bear, but he had no choice. Not if he wanted to save him.

Wukong's possessed form hovered above them, a cruel smile twisting his lips. "What's the matter, MK?" The voice that came out wasn't Wukong's; it was cold, mocking, with an edge that made MK's skin crawl. "Afraid to fight me? Your dear mentor?"

MK flinched, gripping the staff tighter. "I don't want to fight you!" he shouted, his voice breaking. "I just... I want you back. Please, Wukong, fight it!"

The possessed Wukong laughed, a harsh, grating sound that cut through the air like a blade. "Weak, so weak. You think your begging will change anything? Pathetic."

Macaque's eyes flickered with anger. "That's enough," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "You don't get to talk to him like that."

Wukong—no, the thing controlling him—smirked. "Oh, I see. The great Six-Eared Macaque, standing up for the kid? That's rich. What, playing the hero now, Macaque?"

Macaque's grip tightened on his shadow staff, but he forced himself to take a deep breath. He couldn't let the Lady Bone Demon's taunts get to him. Not now. "MK," he murmured, glancing at the boy beside him. "Listen to me. Focus on Wukong, not the voice. He's still in there, somewhere. We just have to reach him."

MK nodded, but his hands were still shaking. He felt so small, so insignificant in the face of this terrible force. "But what if... what if we can't?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Macaque's expression softened, and he placed a hand on MK's shoulder, squeezing it gently. "We will," he said firmly. "I promise. And I'll be right here with you, every step of the way."

For a moment, MK's fear seemed to ebb, replaced by a flicker of hope. He wasn't alone. He had Macaque by his side, and together, they could do this. They had to.

Wukong lunged at them, a flurry of furious attacks that forced them to dodge and weave. MK's movements were clumsy at first, his mind clouded with doubt, but as Macaque moved beside him, gracefully countering each blow, something clicked into place. They fought together like a well-oiled machine, each movement in sync with the other.

But it wasn't enough. Wukong was faster, stronger, and every blow he landed sent a shockwave through MK's body, rattling his bones and making his vision blur. He could feel his energy waning, his breaths growing shorter and more labored.

Macaque noticed the change instantly, his eyes narrowing with concern. "MK, stay with me," he called out, ducking under a particularly vicious swipe. "You're doing great, just hold on!"

MK nodded weakly, his grip on the staff slipping. "I'm... I'm trying..." he gasped, but his legs felt like jelly, and his vision swam.

Then, Wukong's fist connected with MK's chest, and he was sent flying back, slamming into the cavern wall with a sickening thud. Pain exploded through his body, and for a moment, everything went black.

"MK!" Macaque shouted, his voice tinged with panic. He darted forward, blocking Wukong's next attack with his staff. "Stay with me, kid. Don't you dare give up on me now!"

MK's eyes fluttered open, pain searing through his body, but he forced himself to focus. He could hear Macaque's voice, could feel the shadowy tendrils wrapping around him protectively. He wasn't alone. He had to keep fighting.

"Wukong!" MK shouted, his voice filled with desperation. "I know you're in there! Please, come back to us! I need you!"

For a brief moment, Wukong's eyes flickered, the cold, unfeeling light dimming to something softer, something familiar. "MK..." he whispered, his voice strained, like he was fighting against the Lady Bone Demon's control.

Macaque saw the change and seized the moment. "That's it, MK," he urged. "Keep going! Reach him!"

MK's heart pounded with renewed hope, and he pushed himself to his feet, ignoring the pain that shot through his body. "You're stronger than her, Wukong!" he cried out, tears streaming down his face. "You taught me that! You taught me to be strong, to fight for what's right! Please... come back."

Wukong's body trembled, and for a moment, the light in his eyes faded completely. He clutched his head, his face contorted with pain. "MK..." he repeated, his voice breaking. "I'm... I'm trying..."

Macaque's shadows wrapped around Wukong, not to bind him, but to steady him, to hold him close. "You're not alone, Wukong," he said softly, his voice filled with a rare, genuine warmth. "We're here. We're with you."

And then, slowly, the light in Wukong's eyes began to fade, replaced by the familiar golden glow. The tension in his body eased, and he collapsed to his knees, breathing heavily.

MK rushed forward, dropping his staff and kneeling beside his mentor. "Wukong!" he cried, his voice filled with relief and worry. "Are you... are you okay?"

Wukong looked up at him, his eyes tired but clear. "I'm... I'm okay, kid," he whispered, a weak smile tugging at his lips. "Thanks to you."

Macaque stepped forward, his expression a mixture of relief and concern. "You big idiot," he muttered, but there was no malice in his tone, only affection. "Don't scare us like that again."

Wukong chuckled weakly, leaning against MK for support. "I'll... I'll try not to," he said softly, his voice still shaky. "But I knew... you two would come through for me."

MK smiled through his tears, his heart swelling with warmth. "Always," he said, his voice steady with determination. "We'll always be there for you."

Macaque nodded, a small smile gracing his lips. "Yeah," he agreed, placing a hand on Wukong's shoulder. "We're a team, remember?"

Wukong's smile grew, and for the first time in a long time, he felt truly at peace. "Yeah," he murmured, closing his eyes and leaning into the support of his two friends. "A team..."

And as the darkness of the cave seemed to lift, MK, Macaque, and Wukong sat together, finding comfort in each other's presence. The battle wasn't over, but they knew that as long as they had each other, they could face anything.
