The first light of dawn crept over the horizon, casting a soft, golden hue over the celestial palace of Cosmos. The sky above the palace, once a deep indigo canvas spattered with stars, was now slowly being painted with shades of pink, orange, and gold, as if the heavens themselves were preparing to witness a momentous occasion. Inside the grand halls, however, the preparations for another kind of dawn were already underway.

In a private chamber, resplendent with tapestries depicting the cosmos and the galaxies, Prince Cosmos and Princess Galaxia sat together, their minds entwined with thoughts of their upcoming union. The room was filled with the delicate scent of moonflowers, their silvery petals reflecting the light filtering through the arched windows.

Cosmos's deep blue eyes held a warmth that contrasted with the vast, cold expanses of the universe he ruled. His mane, a flowing river of dark blue speckled with stars, shimmered softly in the light. As he turned to Galaxia, his expression softened further, showing the affection he held for her, an affection that had grown over centuries of shared challenges and victories.

Galaxia, radiant as ever, met his gaze with a smile that illuminated the room. Her mane, a kaleidoscope of colors that shifted like the auroras of the northern skies, seemed to dance around her, echoing her inner joy. Though the responsibility of uniting their kingdoms weighed heavily on both their shoulders, the love they shared lightened the burden, offering them both strength and solace.

"This is a rare moment of peace," Cosmos said, his voice low and intimate as he reached out to take Galaxia's hoof in his own. "We should savor it before the storm of preparations begins in earnest."

Galaxia chuckled softly, a sound like the tinkling of distant bells. "Indeed, moments like these are precious. But I would not trade the excitement and challenges ahead for anything. To be able to share this journey with you, Cosmos, makes every difficulty worth facing."

They sat in silence for a moment, simply enjoying each other's presence, before the conversation turned to the matters at hand.

"The city of Canterlot will soon rise, a symbol of our union," Cosmos began, his voice carrying a note of pride. "But there is another symbol that must also be forged—our wedding and coronation as the new rulers of a unified Equestria."

Galaxia nodded, her expression thoughtful. "It is not just a personal union, but a political one as well. Our wedding will be the first step in showing our subjects that we are truly one, united in purpose and in love."

"Exactly," Cosmos agreed. "But it must be more than just a ceremony. It must inspire our people, give them hope, and strengthen their faith in the future we are building together."

Galaxia leaned closer, her eyes shining with determination. "We should involve our people in the preparations, let them see that this is their wedding as much as ours. A celebration that reaches every corner of our kingdoms, bringing together ponies from all walks of life."

Cosmos smiled at her enthusiasm. "A celebration of unity, love, and light. It will be a day to remember, a day that will mark the beginning of a new era."

As they spoke, ideas flowed between them, each building upon the other's suggestions, a true partnership in every sense. They envisioned a grand procession through the streets of Canterlot, where they would be crowned in the city's central square before their people, followed by a ceremony in the newly constructed palace—a palace that would symbolize the merging of their two realms.

"We should have representatives from all the major cities in Equestria," Cosmos suggested, "to witness our union and carry the message of unity back to their homes."

"And the ceremony itself," Galaxia added, "should be a reflection of both our cultures—blending the traditions of the Galaxies and the Cosmos. It will show that our union is not about one realm dominating the other, but about creating something new, together."
