It was the most wonderful time of the year – winter festival season! Leeknow and Han were beyond excited to take their 5-year-old son, Kyunjin, to the annual winter festival in Seoul. The trio had been counting down the days until the festival, and the anticipation was palpable.

As they prepared for their adventure, Leeknow and Han busied themselves in the kitchen, baking sweet treats and making hot chocolate to keep them warm throughout the day. Kyunjin, with his infectious energy, bounced around the kitchen, singing "Festival! Festival!" at the top of his lungs.

Han, the doting father, couldn't help but chuckle at his little boy's enthusiasm. "Hey, Kyunjin, why don't you go pick out your favorite scarf and gloves to wear today?" Han asked, handing his son a plate of freshly baked cookies.

Kyunjin's eyes widened as he examined the treats. "Oooh! Cookies! Can I have one, Appa?" He looked up at Han with his big, brown eyes, and Han couldn't resist those puppy dog eyes.

"Of course, little one," Han replied, handing Kyunjin a cookie. "Now, go get dressed and meet us at the door. We don't want to be late for the festival!"

As they stepped out into the crisp winter air, Kyunjin's eyes sparkled like the twinkling lights strung across the festival grounds. Leeknow and Han held hands with their little boy, taking in the sights and sounds of the festival.

The first stop was the ice skating rink, where Kyunjin had been waiting all year to show off his skills. With Leeknow and Han holding him steady, Kyunjin laced up his skates and took to the ice. His giggles echoed across the rink as he twirled and spun, his parents cheering him on.

Next, they visited the food stalls, where the aroma of hotteok and tteokbokki wafted through the air, making their mouths water. Han indulged Kyunjin in a stick of cotton candy, which promptly turned his tongue blue. Leeknow playfully rolled his eyes, laughing at the sight.

As the sun began to set, they made their way to the main stage, where a live band was performing festive tunes. Kyunjin, now sporting a blue tongue and a sugar high, danced with reckless abandon, twirling and spinning to the music. Leeknow and Han joined in, laughing and spinning alongside their little boy.

The night culminated in a stunning fireworks display, which left Kyunjin awestruck. As the last sparkler fizzled out, Kyunjin turned to his parents, eyes shining with excitement. "Best. Day. EVER!" he squealed, throwing his arms around Leeknow and Han.

As they made their way home, the three of them snuggled up close, warm and content in the knowledge that they'd created memories that would last a lifetime.

"Can we come back next year, Appa? Pleeease?" Kyunjin asked, his voice sleepy but hopeful.

Han smiled, tucking his son in close. "We'll make it a family tradition, little one. Every year, we'll make winter festival magic together.
