Y/n, Jinshi, Gaoshun, and Basen were outside early in the morning.

Y/n: I don't think this is a good idea Jinshi.

Jinshi: It will be fine, Besides this could be good practice for you.

Y/n was holding a wooden sword in his hand and so was Jinshi.

Y/n: Practice, Would mean that we are equal in combat.

Jinshi: Not, Nessceary.

Y/n gives Jinshi a blank look.

Y/n: Gaoshun you have to tell him this isn't a good idea for him.

Gaoshun: While I agree you are more skilled than Jinshi, a little sparing wouldn't hurt.

Y/n: You can't be serious, why don't you fight Basen again?

Basen: I have fought him twice, I would like a break.

Y/n: You had a 30-minute break already.

Jinshi: It might just be me, but you are scared.

Y/n Slowly turns his head to Jinshi.

Jinshi then gets into a sword stance.

Y/n: Come on Jinshi you have to give me a good reason to fight you.

Jinshi: Fine, How about this, Whoever gives up first must give the other person alone time with the apothecary when they ask.

Gaoshun: Really, Jinshi using someone else as bait.

Y/n began to think about it.

Gaoshun: " Maybe Y/n has been around him for too long."

Y/n: Deal.

Y/n throws the wooden sword to the side, he then gets into his fighting stance.

Y/n: Come at me.

Jinshi smiled as Y/n gave him a little smile back. They both just sat and watched each other. Y/n then lowers his guard as he begins to walk up to Jinshi. Jinshi brought his sword down only for Y/n to sidestep his strike with ease. Jinshi tries again only for Y/n to effortlessly dodge the attack. Y/n quickly gets behind Jinshi as they are back to back.

Y/n: You know you're not going to win this right Jinshi.

Jinshi: Don't get overconfident.

Jinshi quickly turns and tries to hit Y/n only for him to jump back.

Y/n: I will admit your technique with a sword is good. Color me surprised.

Jinshi: What you didn't think I wouldn't be good?
