'Cause nothing's as it seems...

I woke up early as expected, my eyes still droopy with the remnants of sleep. I look around in a daze, still pressed against someone's chest.

As my mind slowly comes to, so does my vision allowing me to see the weird world outside this cave like structure we were inside. I shift slightly, trying to get a better look.

"What are you doing?"

I look at Pan with a look of exasperation, "What do you think I'm doing?"

Pan rolls his eyes, shifting to look outside as well.

"Bloody hell..." He muttered to himself.

Outside the cave, a beautiful yet strange place lay. Large mushrooms replaced trees, twisting pathways intertwined as sign did their best to confuse travellers. It was—

"A wonder..." Pan spoke breathlessly , his gaze still on the land before us.

"Wonderland."

"This isn't time for jokes, Y/n." Peter scolded.

"No. I'm serious. This is Wonderland."

Panic rose in both of your chests, Pan hiding his well.

"We need to get out off here," He says aloud, making a move to get out of the place we slept for the night.

"What if there is something out there?" I ask, but he ignores me walking outside.

I follow him shortly after, admiring the place a bit better. I notice a small flower near my foot, moving to pluck it to show to Peter, he lunges at me.

"Don't touch anything!"

I jolt as he grabs me away from the flower which appeared to be a weird beetle. It shrieks at us before trodding away.

"See." He points out.

"Right," I press my lips into a thin line, internally berating myself for my naive tendencies.

"We need to get out of here."

I stayed silent, knowing he was right. We had to get out of here.
