May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

Amen.

R POV.

Since Alice and I had our child, we have completely focused on our daughter and we haven't been intimate at all because we're both busy with our jobs. Namimiss ko na rin kumalikot. I'm here now, sitting at the dining table typing on my laptop and eating bread. I'm also keeping an eye on Alicheresia while she watches TV. Sobrang ganda ng anak namin.

As I was focused on typing on my laptop and reviewing the documents, I noticed Alicheresia looking at me with her puppy eyes. "Yes anak?" I said. "Mama, I'm hungry." She pointed the box of pancakes on the kitchen countertop.

"You want pancakes, anak?" I asked, she smiled at me and nodded happily. "You're so cute." I pinched her cheeks before getting up from the chair, grabbed a pan, and opened the box of pancakes. I started cooking, even though I wasn't skilled at it. If I could,
I would. Maya maya lamang ay may naramdaman akong yumayakap mula sa aking likuran. My wife, the love of my life, is awake now.

"Good morning, love." She spoke with a hoarse voice, nakakalambot ng tuhod.

"Good morning, baby. Ang aga mo naman magising?" I frowned as I asked her, knowing she typically doesn't wake up early; my wife is definitely not a morning person. She simply laughed and perched herself on the countertop.

"Love, anong ginagawa mo?" I glanced at her, feeling a sense of suspicion about my wife's demeanor this morning. "Wala, umupo lang sa counter top." She smirked while scanning my body.

"Sus, baka you want ano." I said as I was flipping the pancakes on the griddle. "Ano?" Nahahalata ko sa boses niya ang pang-aasar. "Wag ka ngang mag ma-ang maangan, Alice Guo" I gave my eyes a workout with a dramatic roll, and she just burst into giggles like I told her a dad joke. "Wala nga akong idea sa mga sinasabi mo e." She was at it again, poking fun at me. So, I decided to turn off the stove, plop the pancakes onto a plate, and give her the classic eye roll.

"Sungit mo, love. Ganyan ba kapag hindi na nakaka-tsansing?" I can totally hear the giggles in her voice, but she's holding back like a kid trying not to laugh in class because she knows I'll turn into a grumpy cat. "Mama!" I was about to speak, I suddenly heard our child's voice calling for me. "Yes, love? Eat na." I said while gently stroked my child's hair, smiling as it was the most wonderful moment.

"Karga." My daughter wrapped her arms around me, indicating that she wants to be picked up. "Anak, I thought you want pancakes?" I asked as I lifted her up. "Wag mo ngang pilitin yung anak ko." Sabat ni Alice. Kunti na lang magiging dinosaur nako.

"Anak, natin." Mariin kong sabi, naki-cooperate rin naman ako. Kaya deserve kong masama. "Love, gawin na natin." She wrapped her arms around me with a sulky expression. Alam ko na ang gusto niya. "Love, please don't show that kind of side to our, daughter. Mamaya na lang gabi." Alice pulled her hands away from me and stamped her foot, clearly sulking.
