The strong gust of wind blew my hair in all directions while I stood at the entrance of the hotel patiently waiting for Jungkook to arrive so that we could board our flight to Brazil.

That stupid guy asked me to meet him at 7 a.m. and I've been waiting for him for half an hour and he's nowhere to be seen.

I let out a big sigh and turned my attention to the open window to admire the heavy rain. The tiny water droplets that gently caressed my face brought a sense of serenity to my heart.

It made me forget about the small but significant incident that happened when I woke up. I woke up around 5:30 a.m. and after taking a shower, I was about to pack my things when a sudden wave of dizziness hit my head hard and I fell down to the cold floor with a loud thud.

I even ended up scratching my palm from trying to stabilize myself using the bedside table. I've been feeling nauseous and having headaches for the past few days, but this was the first time I actually fell to the ground.

It wasn't even easy for me to stand up by myself. I had no strength in my legs and my hands were shaking at the thought of what was really happening.

Even after taking my medicines on time, I can't slow down the symptoms of my condition. It hurts so much to know that no one in my family knows what I'm going through.

I can't even blame them. I'm the one who chose to hide it anyway.

A tear rolled down my cheek, but I quickly wiped it away, not wanting to show my vulnerability when I knew I had no one to hold me by my side.

"Vi, good morning!"

Jungkook's deep, husky voice made me jump and get out of my trance. I took a deep breath before turning around to see him walking towards me with long strides as if he was in a hurry.

Of course he was. He should be in a hurry, considering he kept me waiting for forty minutes.

"Morning. I see you finally woke up." My eyes trailed down his body, taking in his messy, damp hair that proved he had just gotten out of the shower.

He was wearing skinny jeans paired with a black t-shirt and a black open shirt on top of it, which made me realize that his favourite colour is none other than black.

I'm impressed by his ability to look heavenly so early in the morning.

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." He said, he was still breathing heavily from the way he rushed over to me.

"Oh no, not at all. Forty minutes isn't that long." I smiled sheepishly after saying that and he had no choice but to give me an awkward smile.

"I'm sorry, Vi. I accidentally turned off my alarm and slept for a little too long."

I gave him a disappointed look, but decided not to talk about it anymore. It's not like he committed a major crime or anything.

"By the way, why do you have dark circles under your eyes? Didn't you sleep well?" Jungkook asked me and my eyes widened slightly. I immediately pulled my phone out of my pocket to take a look at my face.

I frowned as I looked at myself. I made sure to cover my dark circles that I recently got due to my condition with the makeup so I have no idea how he could notice them.

"Umm, I slept late last night." I answered him thoughtlessly, my focus still on my face. Why do I look so tired and drained?

"Why?"

"Work. Umm buisness and stuff."

I sighed and put my phone in my purse before looking back at him, but I jumped when I noticed his intense gaze on my face. He looked at me as if I had a map to some secret treasure engraved on my face.

"What?" I asked him out of curiosity, because he looks like a creep right now.

"Have you been crying, Vi? Your eyes are a little red."

I immediately frowned, trying to act like he was wrong, but he is not wrong at all. How can he notice so much?

"Um, no. I actually rubbed my eyes earlier because something got in them." I can't believe I keep lying to him. I feel so bad.

Jungkook didn't look convinced at all. He kept looking at my face, analyzing the emotions I was hiding, but I turned away from him. He can read me like an open book and I can't let anyone see through me like that.

Especially not him. We'll part our ways soon.

"Can we go to the airport now? We'll be late!"

The sound of my laughter echoed throughout the airport as I ran away from a frustrated Jungkook with his phone clutched tightly in my hand. We landed at the São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil a while ago and Jungkook pissed me off by being busy on his phone the whole time during the flight.

Instead of talking to me, he ignored me and did his office work, making me feel like I made a mistake by coming with him.

"Stop right there, Vivianna!" His loud voice echoed throughout the airport and I turned around and walked backwards as he made his way to catch me.

"You are not getting your phone back."

"You're dead if I catch you Vivianna!" He shouted from a distance and ran even faster in my direction, making me sprint away again.

He chased me for a while, deliberately letting me get ahead of him. Soon he caught up with me and grabbed my wrist, spinning me around and slamming me right into his buffed chest.

My face stuffed into his chest while my ears rang with the words he whispered right next to my ears, "Gotcha baby!"

His voice, low and raspy, sent a shiver down my spine and I took a step back as I tilted my head back to look up into his big, dark brown eyes. There was a mischievous glint in them that made me raise my eyebrows in question.

"Let go of me!" I ordered him, knowing full well that he would not listen to me at any cost.

"Oh yeah? Let you go so you can run away from me again?" He whispered, his breath hitting my face as he slowly leaned closer.

"I won't." I whispered back, swallowing, my heart beating at a speed of 170 km/h, all because of the closeness between us.

"You won't?" He asked me in his dark, deep voice, and the next moment his lips were close to my ear, murmuring the words that made the same fast beating heart skip a beat. I don't think it will ever beat normally again.

"I'm not even going to let you run away from me, baby! That's not even an option."
