ROSEMARY BROWN has always been a lover.

The girl next door who was kind to everyone, the top of her class, with few but good friends. She was the kind of girl who preferred to spend Friday nights at home on the couch watching movies and eating popcorn with her best friend rather than partying.

She was empathetic, nurturing, a person who valued love and compassion. The girl thought things could be solved by talking them out, by hearing each side of the story and coming up with a solution together. That's probably why she wanted to study law at Princeton since the age of twelve.

JOHNNY LAWRENCE was raised to be a fighter.

The typical popular boy who made fun of everyone, showing up late for class, fighting with people. He was the type of guy who spent his weekends partying, drinking and smoking weed with his friends, as the girls fell at his feet.

He was confident, competitive, and willing to confront challenges head-on. The boy thought things should be solved by striking first, by beign merciless against the enemy, by feeling no remorse and no sympathy. He believed violence was the only reasonable solution, that's way he spent most of his time training at the Cobra Kai dojo.

Rosie and Johnny were so different from each other that it seemed impossible to think the two of them were once thick as thieves. But that was before Johnny became a fighter and Rosie realized she was born to be a lover. Before they realized the two things couldn't coexist together.

Thus, the two went from being friends to being strangers, just as easy as they had gone from strangers to friends.

Two ghosts of people they once knew who shared the same memories.

But that was until one September night in 1984, the night before their senior year. That was until Daniel LaRusso arrived in the Valley.

OR

In which, Rosemary Brown defends the new boy from her brother and his friends, unaware this small gesture would change the course of her life forever.
