My sister doesn't want to get up again. She sleeps like a cat, curled up in a ball. Although usually a water wake-up call worked well for the next few days. So after all my efforts I am forced to use the gun.
- And you against me. I won't forgive you for this. - Well, only dad and mom can wake her up like that. It's going to be a pretty day.
- You have 10 minutes.
- I won't even have time to get dressed.
She's been mad at me too often lately.
We are on the mezzanine in the school, close to the staircase. There were a full five minutes until the bell rang. My sister needs to take advantage of the morning sun, and this is where we get the most of it. The bathroom is much too dark for her requirements. I tried to woo Nasturcia by holding a mirror and her favourite eye pigment. She once poured a bucket of water over my bed. Better to suffer now. Than at night on the couch. I lean the four letters against the railing.
Suddenly, a boy runs out of the classroom followed by two others. The three of them head towards the staircase. One of the pursuers is wearing clearly slippery shoes that slide across the tiles like ice skates. He's even doing well. However, he can't make the turn right away. Which causes it to glide straight towards the Nasturtiums. At the last moment I move it to the side. Unfortunately, I fail. And he lands from the waist behind the barrier. Someone quickly picks me up. But I already know that I'm screwed and that sucking up to Nasturcja is no use. I have quite a journey ahead of me. Pigment it falls out of my hand, the lid falls off in mid-flight, releasing all the particles. Like Tinkerbell's luminous dust to decorate the world below. And with it... .
- Mongrel! You're already dead!
Why it didn't just fall on James or Nathan. It must have fallen on this persistent horsefly too. I'll have to give him time to cool down. Or hold one of the other two triplets close.
- Thorn are you all right? - She looks at me worried.
- I'm good. And you? She softens after my words.
- Also.
- Ouch.-The boy stands up on one leg. The second one gently on the bent knee. My sister looks at him like he's a bug.
- You are an abnormal imbecile!
- I think I sprained my ankle. Can you help me get to the nurse? - He looks at us expectantly.
- I can only break your leg once and for all. So that you don't run around the corridor like a madman. You realize there are others here.
- Okay, okay, I'm sorry. You will help. - Sister suddenly smiles. And she speaks with a sweet voice.
- With pleasure.
She wraps his arm around her neck. And she holds him around his waist. It is positioned dangerously close to the boy's bent leg. Before the patient reaches the nurse, he is, of course, accidentally kicked or trampled by Nasturturcja.
- Ouch, be careful.
- I'm so sorry. I didn't want to. Everyone is rushing to class. There is a terrible crowd in the corridor. Someone keeps poking me.
Nasturtcja even wishes the boy a speedy recovery as he leaves. If it weren't for the nurse's presence, his leg would probably have been amputated. And I can finally calm down and leave my sister unattended and go to class. Finally, the boy is no longer in any danger now that Nasturtcja has left the office.
