"Start from where it all started.", Joshua said.

I took a deep breath, trying to ease the shiver that surfaced as all those bitter memories and emotions rushed into my mind. He waited patiently, giving me surplus time to relax myself and eventually, I started narrating to him the event that devastated my teens.

🎞️ Flashback 🎞️

It all started three years back when I was in middle school. When I was all excited to spend time with Taehee, who came to our house during the winter break, which I thought would be special, but sadly, it turned into my worst memory.

She didn't get along with me as much as I had expected, as our tastes badly matched. Her attitude was not that of a thirteen-year-old. She tried to showcase herself as a grown-up and it was explicit that she looked down on me.

One day, my parents were out of town for work, and I was home alone, watching my only favourite show on TV and I heard the key opening sound from the main door. I was expecting Dokyeom or Taehee to enter through the door but instead, an unknown tall guy entered, leaving me in shock and fear. After a few seconds, another guy came inside, raising my adrenaline to its peak.

They looked like boys in their late teens, probably in their high school. Evilness was painted all over their faces and the way they looked at me sent me a shiver down my spine. In addition to that, the cigarette smell coming from them made me dizzy and nauseous. These boys can never be my brother's friends. So, I quickly ran to my mobile phone to call Dokyeom. But then happened something that pushed me into utter shock, and I froze at my place. There, entered Taehee after them and locked the door behind her. It looked like they came together. Before I could ask her who they were, the tall guy came dangerously close to me, towering over me and spoke, "You didn't mention this extra chick." He smirked and caught a glimpse of Taehee. He then traced my jawline with his finger and I slapped his filthy hand from my face. "Shy, huh?", he smirked again.

"Stop it. She is not in our plan.", Taehee yelled from her place, her voice filled with irritation.
"Why not? She is appetizing. I want to devour her NOW.", the other guy spoke while his eyes roamed throughout my body.
Taehee came near us and stood folding her arms. "You are here because of me. And, you must listen to me. She is nothing but an ordinary girl. She is not even as sexy as me.", Taehee said and rolled her eyes with a smirk.

The tall guy scoffed and spoke, "What a confidence! You are nothing in front of her. Look at how sexy her curves are and how fleshy her tits are. You are just a plain fat pumpkin."

Their disgusting description of my body was nothing but full of sexualization. I closed my ears, trying to keep those vulgar words from entering my ears, and tears started flowing down my cheeks. Then they started touching my breasts and hips, and their hands started trailing down below my abdomen, making my soul shiver. I slapped their hands and tried to escape from them. But they came closer, giving no space for me to take a step away from them.

Taehee screamed at this point to gain their attention and spoke, "You are not here for this. Stop this nonsense NOW." The boys' attention turned towards her.

"Do you think we will still want you when there is a better option?", the other guy spoke, and they took a few steps towards her. When none of them was watching me, I somehow managed to take my phone and tried to move slowly from there without catching their attention. But at the very wrong time, I hit my leg on the couch and the sound diverted their gaze towards me. In no time, I started running upstairs towards my room and they began to chase me. One of the guys almost caught me, he grabbed and pulled the neckline of my t-shirt. In that force the right shoulder and sleeve tore apart, revealing my bra strap but thankfully granting me a chance to slip from his grip. In the urge to escape from them, I entered the wrong room, my brother's room, not knowing that this stupid mistake would turn my life upside down in a single day.
