"Where are we off to now?"
"Remember Riko chan's killer?"
"Zen'in- no, Fushiguro Toji?"
"Yeah him. I did some background search and found his son."
"Ah, so you are preventing him from being sold off to the Zen'in clan?"
"His son goes by the name Fushiguro Megumi. And he has a sister. They're not doing well financially so why not take care of them?"
"Weird, you were never one for taking care of kids. You even voiced put that you dont like kids."
"This is different."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
The two of you were walking down an alleyway and you notice a child ahead.
"You're Fushiguro Megumi-kun, Right?" Satoru announced both of your presence to Megumi
"Who are you guys? And what's with that face?" Megumi questioned
"Nothing, you just really look like him." You said
"Huh?"
"Our own issue." You continued
"So listen, about your dad, he's from this big shot Jujutsu Sorcerer family called the Zen'in but they're such scumbags they make even us sick and that's why your dad left the family and had you." You explained
"Now you're one of the ones who can see things, so you're privileged there, right? You've noticed the power within yourself, too, yeah? The Zen'in clan just loves strong powers. Most become aware of their cursed techniques around 4-6 years old so it's the perfect timing to sell a kid off." Satoru continued
"So Megumi, you were the ultimate card that your dad kept on hand against the Zen'in clan. Does it piss you off?" You questioned
"And about your dad, I ki-" Satoru said nonchalantly while crouching down
"I don't care. I have no interest in where he is or what he's doing. I haven't even seen him in years so I don't remember what he looks like. Though I get the general idea from what you just said. Tsumiki's mother hasn't come home for a while now, either." Megumi interrupted
"Ah, Megumi's home!" Tsumiki said from the balcony
"That means they're finished with us and they're off enjoying themselves elsewhere, right?" Megumi continued
"Are you really a first grader?" You both said in unison
"Well, whatever. If you ever want to know a out your father, just ask us. I think it'll be pretty interesting to hear." Satoru said as she stood up
"Now, on to the main point. What do you want to do? Do you want to go to the Zen'in clan?" You said
"What will happen to Tsumiki?" Megumi questioned
"If I go there will Tsumiki be able to find happiness? It all depends on that." Megumi elaborated his question
"No, absolutely not. We can say that with certainty." You said in a far more serious tone
Megumi becomes a little uneasy and nervous from the huge change of tone
"Okay, leave the rest to us, then." Satoru spoke up and pat Megumi on the head
"We might need you to push yourself for a bit though. So do your best. Get stronger. Strong enough to keep up with us." Satoru continued.
A few days after the interaction.
Megumi and Tsumiki are walking out of their school. They could see you standing outside of the gate. Megumi wished to avoid you but Tsumiki pushed to go to you with Megumi.
"Hello Mr Kōkai!" Tsumiki greeted you
"Oh, Tsumiki. And Megumi too, perfect timing."
"What's up?" Megumi asked
"Well you see... there's this super delicious high class restaurant that opened recently around here."
"...and?"
"Wanna go there?"
"What's the catch?" Megumi asked suspiciously.
"What? Mr Kōkai is just being nice!" Tsumiki responded to Megumi's doubt
"No catch. Absolutely none. Unless you can consider good food as a catch."
Megumi was hesitant but agreed due to Tsumiki's encouragement. You lead them to your car(not a expensive one, a pretty average one). As you all approach the car, the front passenger window reels down as Satoru greeted you all.
"Took ya long enough. I assume we're all willing?" Satoru says as she looks at Megumi.
"Yup."
You all get in the car and hit the road, you obviously driving since Satoru is too lazy and wants to tease the kids.
"Look at us, we're like a family, huh." Satoru said with a wide grin.
"Does that mean you'll be our parents?" Tsumiki said with some hope.
Satoru stared blankly as she has no idea how to answer that. "Uhh... yeah sure."
You chuckle at her awkward response.
Another short chapter I guess. Anyways, Y/N promoted to father figure, whoooo. And Satoru is a mother figure I guess. Probably the worst person to be a mother. Lemme know if you want snippets of slice of life before JJK 0. Oh, and if you want me to come up with a Hakari enrolment thingy
