Chapter 21 - A New Deal

Tinkerbel heard the door opening again. But instead of a confident, loud push, it opened slow and careful. Like whoever opened it wasn't supposed to be there. She help her breath and closed her eyes. The pain inside her had become worse. She knew she wouldn't be able to last very long.

She missed Hook. She missed him so much that, when she let herself take a breath, she thought she smelled him. She thought it was him on the door but didn't dare to talk in case she was wrong. But that smell... Furious dark waves and heavy grey storms. She had to be wrong. Her mind must have been playing games with her. It will probably rain soon,she thought. But it is late July, theres no way. Still, she hadn't had time to think about it. The door closed and with it, his smell disappeared.

Two man started talking outside the door. She couldn't make out who were talking but one of them was Blackbeared. She could recognize his footsteps as he walked inside the room.

"Great timing fairy. Your friend was here a couple of minutes ago" He said and Tink lifted her head slowly up. Her arms and legs were weak. She didn't know who but someone kept coming the last days at her cell. Every night, he would beat her up until she spit blood. Her ribs were bruised. Her arms and legs had cuts on them. Her clothes were filled with holes. She was a mess. One look at her and you would start crying and praying for her life. It was even a miracle she was still alive. The man smiled, "Hook" He said. His name echoed through the walls back to her ears over and over again.

"He was here?" And didn't want to see me? She thought and her heart broke into tiny little pieces. What was he going to say if he so her? Would he cry? Would he simply walk away? After everything that they've been through, it was hard for her to imagine him doing that. But he was here... And he didn't even look or call for her

Blackbeard laughed, "Are you sad because he didn't visit you? Sorry to spoil you but there are no visiting-hours here. He won't see you until he pays the price"

"What price?" She asked but he didn't answer her. Instead, he began walking towards the exit. Tinkerbell stood up, run close to the bars and held on to them. Distupt the pain she fell on her body, she managed to shout at him, "What did you ask him to do?!"

She heard his laugh again and her whole body flinched. "Something worthy for a beauty like you"

"Leave him alone! Take whatever you want from me. I don't care anymore..." Until that point, she had asked too much from Hook. She didn't want to be a burden to him anymore. Whatever he told him crew the night he left her at that hotel was a hundred present true. She was a obstacle to their path and a complete distraction for them. She was never needed... Tinkerbell was useless, to everyone. To Peter, to Hook, to her friends and even to herself.

She was done.

For good this time.

Blackbeard turned around with one movement and walked towards her again. "Whatever I want?" He asked. His voice was scary. His whole aura was filled with dark orbs. She could see his miserable soul crying for help.

"Yes! But please, forget about Hook. Leave him. This is between me and you." She cried out and took a step back once Blackbeard was close enough to her cell to reach for her and grab her. He pulled her black dyed hair and she almost hit her head at the bars.

"You have a hell of a body little fairy... But I believe that your wings will satisfy me more" He smirked.

Tink shallower dry and stared at him terrified. "What- What do you mean?"

"Tonight... Prepare to have your wings ripped out of your body" He laughed and laughed and laughed until he was so far away Tinkerbell couldn't hear him anymore.

It was the first time in her life that Tinkerbell was so terrified. She sat down on her cell, hugged her knees and kept crying for hours. Her whole body shook with fear. Tink had hurt her wings many times in her life. But- pulling them out. It sounded like a nightmare and she wanted to wake immediately.

She didn't want to take her decision back. She kept reminding herself for who she was doing this. For herself. Maybe she would die from the pain and finally leave this cursed sea. The fairy had travelled far away from The Neverland which she had never imagined she could do. She had seen and met people while she was at Eladueras Port. She had traveled the sea. And most importantly, she had left Peter behind. She had completely forgotten about him. And just like that, she wished that she would forget Hook too. She kept lying to herself. Telling herself that Hook didn't care so that the pain would go away but it didn't.

The time was running out. It was defenitely past midnight. Her eyes hurt from crying but it was nothing like the pain she would feel once her wings were...

She tried to escape. Once she was out of her cell, she tried to fly away but one of Balckbeards men caught her. He help her tight in his hands, sqeezing her until she couldn't breath and she instantly remembered the night that Hook had strangled her.

"She tried to escape!" The man holding her shouted to Blackbeard and she could swore that she saw something twisting in Blackbeards eyes. She saw something evil.

"For that only, I'll do you one last favor. Could you guess what that is?" He asked her and Tinkerbell shook her head negatively. "You'll see how it is like swimming without wings. You know how to swim, don't you?" He asked her and tilted his head to the side, trying to play it innocent.

Her mind instantly went to the moment she and Peter had on that island. She tried to escape. Peter grabbed her head and drowned her. She remembered fighting for her life under the water. Her stomach formed a knot. "No. No, please" She cried out. Her knees failed to keep her up. She fell on the ground. The two guards were still holding her. "Please..." She whispered.

"I told you you would beg me for mercy" Blackbeard said and started walking towards her. "But you didn't listen to me. You prefered waisting your time crying like a bitch instead" His hand gathered her hair and lifted her head up.

Her body suddently lost all of its power. She became numb. The light inside her was ready to go out. Tink didn't have the energy to fight. She just stood there. She couldn't understand what was going on. Suddently, everyone stopped. Someone had entered the ship. Her eyes were half open. She tried to lift her head up and look but someone moved infrond of her, blocking her.

"Whats going on?" She whispered. No one listened to her. She closed her eyes again and waited. Waited for her end to come.
