The sound of a door slamming on a wall woke her up. She didn't know how much time had passed by, but the stars had already made their appearence at the night sky. Which meant that everything, expect from where the white light of the moon hit through the small window above her head, was dark.

She heard footsteps approaching her and straightened her back. "I'm back" Blackbeared said.

"What do you want?"

"If I were in your place I wouldn't use that tone fairy" He said and leaned over the bars, once again, supporting his hands on them. "I have to inform our guests about our future plans. Captain said"

"Who is your Captain?"

"Why do you care?" He asked. "You won't be exiting this room soon enough to meet him" His voice was harsher than before, like he had just woken up. Tinkerbells eyes took a while to adjust to the darkness but when they did, she noticed that his mask was missing. If the first time they had met he came without a mask, she would have recognized him for sure. His face wasn't something you could forget easily. He hadn't shaved and he was missing three teeth from the right side of his mouth. One of his fangs was golden. Probably missing as well.

"Okay then. What do you want to tell me?" She asked and tilted her head to the side, slightly closing her eyes.

He smiled. "We're moving towards Eladueras Port. I'm sure you've heard of it. The largest Port on the continent" She nobbed. The man continued, "Unfortunately for us and thankfully for you, you'll be dismissed on our stop"

"Dismissed? Are you letting me go?"

The man laughted once again. "No, no. no. I don't think you understood me" He said and repeated his words with a slight change this time, "At Eladueras Port you'll be exchanged for money"

"To who?" She asked. Her voice sounded low and weak.

"Well, if I told you... The surprise would lose all its fun, wouldn't it?" Blackbeared asked and starte walking up and down, the lenght of the door across from Tink. "You know..." He started, "I never undestood you fairies" The man stopped and sat on the chair across her. Leaning foward he supporting his arms on his legs. "Why do you think your special? Because you make glitter? Humans can make that too. Because you fly? Birds also fly. Because you can changed to human size? Or because you live inside a tree? Huh? Why?" Tinkerbell had heard enough. Every time of the day, he came in and just insulted her. She couldn't take it anymore. She started shouting at him without even realizing it.

"We're not special because we have wings, make fairydust, change form or inhabit an ancient magical tree. We're special because we can feel emotions to their full potential. We can love and hate with all our hearts. We can fear and dare, laugh and cry. Unlike you. You emotionless piece of shit!"

He let out a small laugh. "You're very funny little fairy" He opened the door making her whole body stiff. When did he unlock it? She thought and her eyes widen in fear. "But I must confess to you one thing. Emotions never took great people anywhere. Logic did, and you know what my logic tells me?" Tink shook her head. "That fairies are useless" Her heart skipped a beat. No..

No. Don't say it. She though and sqeezed her eyes shut. "No"

The man leaned down to her level. "Oh... Did I hurt your feelings? I'm not sorry, It's the truth. Fairies are for weak people who need to make up a stupid excuse to maker their miserble lives better. They need to believe in something magical, like little creatures who fly and throw glitter and live inside a tree and can understand human emotions. Thats why you exist. To give strengh to the weak so that they can survive another day in this doomed world"

"Stop" She whispered with all her strengh. If she could, she would have shut her ears with her hands but they were tied behind her back. It couldn't keep listening to him.

"I've not finished fairy... You see, I'm not weak. Nor do I need your emotional support. And I definitely don't believe in fantastic little creatures made by the imagination of weak people"

No... He was denying it. He was denying her. Her existence. Her life. It made her want to throw up. Her It body flinched at the sound of his words. No, no, no. Her body began to fall from inside her. Her light began flickering just like her heart. She tried to curl up like a ball as much as she could. Maybe this could make her not hurt so much. She felt like her heart was breaking in tiny little pieces with every breath she took. Her mind kept reminding her of the words he had just said, 'I definitely don't believe'. She couldn't take it. She felt like someone was choking her, tearing her apart.

The man laughed and stood up again. "You are so dramatic. Just because I don't believe in you doesn't mean you have to cry" She thought it coudln't get worse. She was wrong. It got worst. Her body started giving up on her. You have to focus Tink. Focus. Don't listen to him. The breaths she took became deeper, quicker. She was desperatly trying to breath. Was she having a panick attack? She didn't know. This feelings... She had never felt it in her whole life.

Tink couldn't feel her body anymore. She fell foward. Her eyes slowly started closing. If the metalic chains weren't holding her, she would have collapsed on the cold floor. Her shine began leaving her. With every passing minute, she became weaker. She needed Hook. Hook believed in her. No. Not just Hook. Anyone. She needed someone to remind her that she was enough. She was worthy. That they believed in her. Anyone... Please.

She suddently felt a cold breeze brushing her body. She felt goosebumps. It was the late July. The air outside was warm. Then why did she feel so cold? Her lips began trembling just like her whole body. She was freezing. Could she die just from someone denying her existence? Defenitely.

"No..." She whispered to herself as she kept trembling. She couldn't die. Fairies could supposibly live up to six hundred years. Why die so young? She wanted to see the world. She was supposed to return back to Pixie Hollow. She wanted to make a lot more trips with Hook. She couldn't die. It was impossibly. A tear run down her face. lt wasn't fair.

They say that with the first laugh of a baby, a fairy is born. Thats exactly what hapened with Tinkerbell. The breeze helped her reach Pixie Hollow. And every time a fairy dies, a baby cries. Humans couldn't understand how connected babies were with the fairies. Maybe they were even scared, but this was natures way to tell them that they were souls just like them. Just because they had wings, were smaller and more magical than them didn't mean that they weren't important too. They were creatures of the nature just like them.

Tinkerbell noticed some fairies whispering quitly around ta corner when she first arrived at Pixie Hollow. She couldn't resist. She overheard them. One of them said to the others that humans were jealous of them because of their powers. Tink didn't believe it but she still asked her new friends. They told her what she wanted to hear, that the rumours were fake.

But once she left Pixie Hollow and followed Peter Pan to Neverland, thats when she met Hook for the first time. And the mermaids, and the crocodile and the lost boys. And wendy... That girl was crazy. To wild for her age. She though and rolled her eyes. Then her mind returned to the mermaids. She missed them. All of them. She adored the lost boys and the crocodile was fun. Sometimes a bit scary but he never harmed her. Only Hook. Poor Hook. She still remembered the day she and Hook went on that quick adventure.

Hook had told her, "Come on Tinker. It'll be fun. And Peter is with the Indians. I doubt he'll be back soon" Tink liked the idea of sneeking out just for a little bit with Hook. So she did. He took her on his ship and together they visined the skull rock. It was dark. Hook took the chance and scared her many times. They had so much fun, Tinkerbell almost forgot with who she was. Peter had warned her to not go anywhere alone with Hook. He had made it very clear. But everyone is craving for a little adventure with the forbidden. Tink went on a lot of adventures with Hook after but never let him touch her.

After Peter left her, she felt like she could go ask Hook for help. After everything they had expirienced together, he had to acceot her request. And he did. And this is were all this mess lead her to. The Fairy and The Red Captain.

Her mind driffed off to thousand of thoughts. About the past, about the future. Mostly about Hook. Where could he be? She thought and the sleep took her. Tink was draining and she would keep empying. Hook had to be fast. Fairies can't survive long without believers... After all, he had made a promise with her. And promises with fairies are sacred.
