Narae didn't even have time to process how she ended up playing truth or dare at this party. One moment, she had been content standing by the drink table with Renjun, the next, Taeyong and Doyoung were dragging her over to sit in a circle with what felt like half the partygoers.

"You can't just stand around all night," Taeyong teased, nudging her shoulder. "Where's the fun in that?"

Narae sighed, giving him a sideways glance. "I'm perfectly fine just watching."

Doyoung chimed in with a grin. "You watch long enough, you'll get sucked in. Might as well just join."

Reluctantly, she sat down between Renjun and Jisung. The latter was already plotting something—his mischievous grin never left his face.

The game began with Rosé, who was dared to call her crush. When the phone rang, and Jaehyun's deep voice echoed across the circle, Narae felt her stomach twist. Jaehyun? Really?

Rosé's cheeks flushed pink, and the group laughed as Jaehyun, who sat across the circle, winked at her. "What's up, Rosé?"

The laughter grew louder as Rosé fumbled with her words. "Uh, nothing! Just... just wanted to say hi." She quickly hung up, looking mortified.

Narae exchanged a glance with Renjun, who raised his eyebrows and whispered, "That's embarrassing."

She rolled her eyes, trying to suppress a smile. "Absolutely ridiculous."

Next, it was Haechan's turn. He was dared to do ten pushups, which seemed simple enough, except he made the entire thing into a dramatic performance.

"Ten? Seriously? Come on, you guys can do better than that!" he protested, dropping to the floor and making exaggerated grunts after the third pushup.

Johnny, never missing an opportunity to poke fun, clapped his hands and cheered him on. "Only eight more to go, Donghyuck! You can do it!"

Narae crossed her arms and muttered under her breath, "He's being so extra."

Renjun stifled a laugh beside her. "You'd think they dared him to run a marathon."

By the time Haechan was barely making it through the tenth pushup, the group was in stitches. Narae, however, just shook her head. She tried not to think about how his shirt rode up slightly, exposing a sliver of skin, or how his playful grin lit up his face even when he was struggling. Get it together, she scolded herself.

Mark's turn came next, and he was dared to give both Johnny and Jeno a foot massage. Both boys immediately thrust their feet toward Mark, who grimaced but complied, muttering the whole time.

"This is disgusting," Mark complained as he massaged Johnny's sock-covered foot. "I didn't sign up for this!"

Johnny, ever the opportunist, leaned back with a smirk. "You're doing great, Mark. Keep going."

Narae snorted as Mark's face twisted in disgust. "He's suffering," she whispered to Renjun, who was barely containing his laughter.

"This is why you never pick 'dare'," Renjun quipped. "Rookie mistake."

Then came Mingyu's dare. Narae wasn't sure what she expected, but when he stood up to do a sexy dance, the whole room erupted in cheers. Mingyu's moves were ridiculous, over the top, and strangely captivating in their own way. He strutted around the circle, pointing finger guns at random people, causing laughter to burst out wherever he looked.
