Her legs shook impatiently as she sat on her chair in the office. Isha's eyes were fixed on her computer as she typed continuously, her fingers now screaming for some rest. But she continued, disobeying the orders of her tired body. Her eyes went from the work papers to her laptop, with each passing second she picked up her typing pace in order to just finish her work.

But much to her dismay, as she tried to type faster, she made a lot of mistakes, urging her to write a whole sentence again. Her shoulders were tensed, her eyes red from watching so long at the screen, but she still didn't stop and kept working, ignoring the pain her body felt.

Shantanu returned from the college when his eyes got stuck on a jewelry store. A faint smile made way across his face. He stepped in the air conditioned store, a total contrast to the hot air from outside. His eyes scanned through the various jewelry sets, bangles, earrings, foot chains and many more. His smile grew even more as he planned to surprise his wife. He walked through the store and after much confusion, as he didn't know what to choose, he finally bought something which he hoped his Isha would love.

Finally, Isha leaned back into her seat after she had shut down her computer. She took in a deep breath and relaxed her fingers. The light blue saree in combination with a white bluouse, she had worn, seemed to only irritate her tired body even more. She rolled her shoulders up and down to relax them, but now her body seemed to disobey her orders as the tiredness and pain weren't leaving her alone for even a while. She closed her eyes, breathing down slowly, her chest slightly moving up and down. Her arms were rested on the hand rest of the chair.

A knock on the door made her sit up straight. Her heart thumped in her chest due to the sudden thudding on the door. She sighed to calm herself down.

"Come in," she ordered, sitting op straight and resting her arms on the table. As the door opened, Isha saw Shantanu in the door opening, wearing, a black pant and white shirt, a light blue coat on the shirt. Her face lit up at the sight of her husband in her office. A surprise she hadn't expected. But then, she chuckled and thought: Mr. Shantanu Bhosale is full of surprises.

"Main kya joker nazar aa raha hoon, joh aise mann mein hasee jaa rahi ho," Shantanu asked confused, as he walked in and closed the door behind him.

"Nahi woh main bas soch rahi thi ki aaj mere office mein kaise aa gaye?" Isha asked, her eyes stuck on the little bag in his hands. Shantanu shrugged .

"Mujhe apne biwi ko surprise dena tha toh aa gaya, ab itna haq toh banta hain," he said and chuckled as he walked near her and placed the bag on the table.

"Tumhara hi haq hain," she said and looked up at him.

"Aur yeh kya hain, Shantanu sir?" Isha looked at the little black bag, on its outlay a symbol of a jewelry.

"Dekhata hoon, ek min."

Shantanu took out a beautiful necklace out of the bag. It was thin and simple, the kind of necklace she could wore everyday. There was a little I&S attached to it as a pendant. Isha gasped as her eyes scanned the beauty of the necklace. She looked up ar her husband and then back at the necklace which he held in his hand.

Giving someone a gift is also an art, which not all people know. A gift is never just a gift. There are emotions attached to the gift of the person who gifts something. A gift resembles a bit of the character for whom the gift has been bought. As in this case, the simple necklace, resembled the fact that Isha loved simplicity, yet elegance. The I&S resembled how much she valued her relationship with her husband. As she gazed at the gift she was more than happy. Her husband really was good at giving gifts.
