Do you really want to go?

It was finally decided. Isha would leave for Ramtek the next morning. Isha laid on her bed in the room. A room that held fond memories of her and Shantanu. As the dim light of the lamp on the night stand shone through the room, her eyes scanned through it. She vividly remembered how excited she was, when this house was being built. She remembered how Isha and Shantanu both had painted this room together. It had been a beautiful memory that was filled with mischief, fun and their soft romance.

Flashback
Isha looked at the light green paint in the bucket kept on the floor of their half built house. The room, that was supposed to become their bedroom, was empty. Except for some stuff laying on the floor, which was being used for the house. She had worn a jeans and a white oversized shirt. This, because one: she was in an environment where there was no akkasaheb and Raosaheb, so she wouldn't be judged for wearing this and two, they had decided to paint their room and she wasn't planning on painting a room while wearing a saree. Her hair was done in a simple pony tail, while some loose strand of her hair were kept on sides of her faces.

Her gaze shifted towards the wall that was had no colour on it, except for the grey colored stones strongly put together with cement. She sighed, thinking that they had 3-4 hours until they both had to pick up Ishan from school.

"Shantanu!!! Kaha reh gaye ho, pura din nahi hain hamaare paas!" Isha shouted through the room.

"Offoo, Isha. Thoda patience rakho nah, bhaag nahi raha hoon main," Shantanu said, while walking into the room, while holding some stuff in his hands.

"Kaha the tum?" Isha asked, putting her hands beside her hips. Shantanu looked unbelievably at her, then gave her a sarcastic smile.

"Woh main nah, Bahar dhoop mein disco dance karraha tha," Shantanu said, sarcastically. Isha rolled her eyes.

"Shut up, Shantanu!" She said and walked towards him. She took the paint roller out of his hands and then turned her back towards him and walked ahead towards the bucket. They were first going to paint the left side of the wall. Shantanu brought the ladder and started to climb on it.

"Isha, mujhe paint roller do nah, main upar ka karta hoon," he said as he looked upside at the wall.

"Shantanu, main kya yeha Isiliye aayi hoon taaki main tumhe paint roller baar baar doon? Bilkul nahi, mujhe khud bhi karna hain paint," Isha said excitedly. Shantanu looked down at her, chuckling at her cuteness.

"Isha tum karlena nah. Bas yeh wall ka upper side ke liye hi bolraha hoon, help kardo, please?" Shantanu said, looking innocently at her. Isha sighed and smiled at him.

"Aise hi innocent shakal banake tumne mujhe phasa liya apne pyaar ke jaal mein," Isha said, while she bent down to drop the paint roller in the paint. After brushing it against the edges of the bucket, she handed it over to Shantanu, who then started to paint the wall, slowly, trying to paint it as good as he could.

"Innocent shakal kya, main innocent hi hoon," Shantanu said as he painted. Isha had crossed her arms and looked up at him.

"Oh really, Shantanu sir? Aap innocent hain?" Isha asked teasingly. Shantanu stopped painting and looked down at Isha, understanding her meaning. He leaned one of his elbow on the ladder and leaned his head into his hand.

"Haan Isha ma'am, main innocent hoon, woh toh aapko khoobsurati aur aapki adaa hain joh masoom insaan ko bhi pagal kardeta hain," Shantanu answered her, earning an eye roll from her side.

"Shut up Shantanu, aur kaam karo apna, Pura din nahi hain hamare paas," she changed the topic. Yet, under his romantic gaze she found herself blushing and shying a smile away. As they continued painting and helping each other, the moment was filled with togetherness, their fun banters and joy. The outer world, their daily worries and stress were forgotten as soon as they came together.
