"mom, why do we have to move?" donghyun asked.
his mother sighed, as she bent her knees and picked up another box packed full with things from the kitchen.
each dish was covered and wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent crashing and smashing apart. she lugged the box into the moving truck, her shoes making prints in the soggy grass after last night's rain.
"our old city isn't so... safe. the crimes happening weekly is getting concerning so we're moving, donghyun." his mother said, as donghyun nodded in understanding.
"oh, okay." he replied, as he stared at the fish tank in the living room from the window afar inside the house.
"but what are we going to do with my fish and their tank?" donghyun added on, pointing to it as his mother paused.
"i'll tell your father to bring it, don't worry." she said, as donghyun sighed in relief.
"thanks mom." he said with a smile as her mom smiled back.
