"Mommm!" Janiyah yelled. Fatima finally came walking down stairs. "Do i look good?" Yeah you look more than good, let's go tho cause we're almost late.
"Okay miss momma." Fatima said walking out the door.
Janiyah put the car in drive and pulled off. "What time do you get off?" 5:30 what you gotta do after school?
"Nothing that I know of."
"Mom I was thinking." Janiyah said as she pulled up to a red light.
"I'm listening."
"Since I am turning 17 soon I was wondering can my boyfriend come over."
"I haven't even met him."
"You will today."
"How?"
"I'm taking you to his house to meet his parents, my birthday is in two days mom."
"Okay I'll think about it at work."
"Please think about it!"
Ni dropped her mom off at work and made it to school. When she got there she seen her boyfriend Jake. "Wassup bae." Jake said hugging her.
"Hey baby, you didn't text this morning."
"Got my phone took."
"You got in trouble? You know my mom is coming to your parents after work."
"Kinda but they didn't say nothing about that."
"Whatever Jake stay out of trouble."
While janiyah was a school, fatima was at work. "Hey ms Wilson!" Andi said as soon as fatima entered the building. "Hey andi, how are you?"
"Looking good feeling good, and you?"
"Great!" With a smile.
"And how is my girl, her birthday is in two days."
"Act like she grown got herself a boyfriend."
"Okayyy ni!"
"She's growing up omg!"
"And i better meet this boyfriend."
"I'm meeting his parents today after work."
"Okayy, it's time for her mother to get a boyfriend."
"Okay bye Andi, I have work to do."
She know damn well I'm not ready to date after what janiyah dad has put me through. I never told my baby what really happened with her dad cause I don't want her to hate him. I mean he's around but not like he's supposed to be, she still love that man tho.
Noon
"Hey girl, you got a visitor?" Andi said
"Heyyyy mama!" Ni said walking in behind Andi
"Girl what you doing out of school?" Fatima said getting out of her chair. "Chill momma, I'm at lunch and my teacher is letting me bringing lunch." Thank you baby girl.
"Well I'll see y'all later." Andi said leaving out.
"Girl I was finna get you if you were skipping school to get my response from this morning." Fatima said sitting back down in her chair. "I just wanted to get you something to eat chill lady." Janiyah said sitting in front of her mom, putting the take out bags on the desk.
"You staying?"
"Yeah I can't eat lunch with you?"
"What time your lunch is over?"
