-Careless Cafe-

Dandy slowly opened his eyes and groaned, he rolled onto his side and sighed. He reached for his phone and checked the time,  5:46 am.

He slowly got up and started getting ready, he brushed his teeth and cleaned his face. Next he started fixing his petals, making sure they weren't wrinkled or creased, he smiled at his reflection and winked at himself.

Today was gonna be great!

Dandy sat a couch in the main room, he was reading Twilight currently (a gift from Brightney), sure the book wasn't his style nor taste but he couldn't just turn it down like that!

Usually the others would wake up at 7:00am - 8:00am. Dandy checked the time, 6:30. He still had some time to himself so he decided to make coffee, he could drink it while he read.

He flipped through the pages, actually starting to enjoy the story. It wasn't half bad once you got into it, sure it was cheesy but not horrible.

He heard the others start to wake up and he decided to ignore them, too invested in the story to care for their presence.

He could feel them staring at him, or just glancing in his direction in general. He got up and stretched, he then remembered he had to go with Astro today!

They were leaving at 12:34 to get the lunch special, he quickly grabbed his coffee up and his book and ran back to his room not looking back.

He looked at himself in the reflection, although they weren't going on a date doesn't mean he couldn't dress like he was! He grabbed his phone and texted Astro, telling him to dress fancy as well.

In the matter of seconds Astro texted back a simple 'Okay', Dandy smiled and got ready. He grabbed a chocolate colored suit, before putting it on he put a white button up shirt on. He then grabbed his matching pants, thankfully they still fit, he then grabbed his 'never used fancy shoes' well they weren't that fancy, they were just black shoes.

He smiled at himself and began walking out, he texted Astro as he walked back into the living room. He noticed that it went quiet when he entered, he looked up from his phone and saw everyone staring at him for some reason?

"Hi ..?"

Dandy awkwardly waved, not really knowing what to do in this situation he watched as Toodles ran over to him, he awkwardly smiled ready to hear whatever brainrot she was about to spew.

"Woah.. I don't think we've ever seen you like this before..". Toodles reached out her hand to touch Dandy but he slowly backed away, trying to get away from the rabid hell spawn of a child.

"So where exactly are you going?" Rodger crossed his arms, looking a tad bit jealous but it wasn't noticable unless you looked really hard.

"Well I–"

"You look nice Dandy!" Tisha spoke with great pleasure, she looked at Dandy up and down. Safe to say she was enjoying the view, Dandy raised an eyebrow and turned around to leave but he stopped as he saw Astro in the corner of his eyes.

He hid behind the door, nobody but Dandy could see him from this angle. Dandy smiled and turned towards everyone again, he put his hands on his hips and brightly smiled.

"Well everyone! I'm going on a date!"

You could hear a pin drop, they all stared at Dandy with different expressions none really being 'joyful'.

Dandy put his hands to his sides and slightly frowned, he thought they would be happier for him and besides he wasn't even going on a date! It just felt like one!
