Rhianna turned around and saw a green bubble floating toward them. She tapped Dorothy's shoulder and pointed at the bubble. When the two saw the bubble coming closer, they backed away. It grew bigger and turned pink as it got closer, and once it touched the ground, it disappeared to reveal a beautiful young woman. She had blue eyes, long curly auburn hair, and had a kind smile on her face. She wore a beautiful pink dress that looked like something a princess or a queen would wear, complete with a glittering crown on her head, and she held a sparkling wand in her hand.
"Now I know we're not in Kansas," Rhianna muttered to Dorothy.
The woman approached the girls. "Are you good witches or bad witches?" she asked them.
Rhianna and Dorothy looked behind them to see if she was talking to someone else. But when they saw no one else, they figured she must've been talking to them.
"Who, us?" Dorothy asked, and the woman nodded. "Why, we're not witches at all. I'm Dorothy Gale, from Kansas, and this is my big sister, Rhianna."
"Oh. Well, is that the witch?" the woman asked as she pointed her wand at Toto.
"Who, Toto? Toto's my dog," Dorothy told her.
The woman giggled. "Well, I'm a little muddled. The Munchkins called me because two new witches have just dropped a house on the Wicked Witch of the East." She pointed her wand at the house. "And there's the house, and here you two are, and that's all that's left of the Wicked Witch of the East."
Dorothy and Rhianna gasped when they saw a pair of feet that wore black-and-white-striped stockings and beautiful ruby slippers sticking out from underneath the house. They definitely didn't mean for that to happen.
"What the Munchkins want to know is, are you good witches or bad witches?" the woman asked again.
"But Dorothy already told you, we're not witches at all," Rhianna told her.
"Witches are old and ugly," Dorothy added.
They heard the sound of giggling, but when they looked around, they saw no one.
"What was that?" Rhianna asked the woman.
"The Munchkins. They're laughing because I am a witch. I'm Glinda, the Witch of the North," the woman known as Glinda explained.
"You are?" Dorothy asked, and she curtsied for Glinda. "Oh, I beg your pardon, but we've never heard of a beautiful witch before."
"Only bad witches are ugly," Glinda responded with a smile. "The Munchkins are happy because you both have freed them from the Wicked Witch of the East."
"But if you please, what are Munchkins?" Rhianna asked, and that giggling was heard again.
"The little people who live here. It's Munchkinland, and you and your sister are their national heroines, my dear," Glinda explained, and looked around. "It's all right. You may all come out and thank them."
Dorothy and Rhianna saw the little Munchkins coming out of hiding.
"Come out, come out,
Wherever you are
And meet the young ladies
Who fell from a star.
They fell from the sky,
They fell very far.
And Kansas they say
Is the name of the star.""Kansas they say
Is the name of the star."All of the Munchkins came out of hiding as Glinda led Rhianna and Dorothy onto a dais by a fountain.
