-Two weeks later-
Y/N's POV:
The storm is still raging on. If this keeps up, I have no choice, but to not use any aerial vehicles. That would also mean that I would have to recon for any enemy troops. If they find out they can advantage of this, then that would mean we would be vulnerable. Most of our fighters are injured from the last battle and we can't find anymore resources due to the harsh weather conditions. We have no choice, but to hunker down and hope for the best. But hey, at least I have the Traveler and Paimon with me.Traveler has recently joined after learning about the resistance fighters fighting against the Vision Hunt Decree and the Shogunate Army. We've been taking out a few scout teams, but no army yet.
I returned back to the camp from my recon spot to discuss with some things to General Gorou.
He seems a bit down, so I decided to initiate the conversation first.
Y/N: "General, are you feeling alright?"
Gorou: "Oh hi Y/N. I'm feeling just fine. Just a little..."
Gorou pauses for a moment, thinking about how to finish his sentence.
Y/N: "Tired?"
Gorou: "No, that's not it..."
Y/N: "Anxious?"
Gorou: "A little, but that's not it though."
Y/N: "Then what is it?"
Gorou: "I'm worried. We might have to be on the offensive soon if Her Majesty doesn't arrive yet."
Y/N: "I think we can handle it. Besides, you got me."
Gorou: "I guess we can give it a shot, but we have to wait for this storm to calm down."
Y/N: "No biggie."
For twenty minutes, the storm finally stops, but there's still a little drizzle. Gorou, the Traveler, and a handful of resistance fighters marched down the shore to meet with the Shogun Army. Meanwhile, I watch over them with my M82 Barrett.
