Born a Loser

HELLO MY AVOCADOS! I DONT' HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY RIGHT NOW SO LET'S JUST GET ONTO THE STORY!

     Talk about not being able to sleep after remembering that. There was no way you'd be able to sleep after! You tried to calm your mind be reminding yourself that you didn't know a single person with that quirk, which seemed to help quite a bit. You started drifting to sleep sooner than expected.

     The next morning, you and Izuku eat breakfast together with your mom before leaving to go to UA. "Any fun dreams last night, Y/n?" Izuku teased. Your face turns a faint red in embarrassment as you remembered the dream you had while napping the day before. "N-no."

     As you arrive at school, you see Bakugou walking with Kirishima. You ignore the feeling of wanting to walk with him and keep walking with Izuku.

     Today in class, the teacher informs everyone about the Sports Festival. As excited as you are, you are also nervous, but don't know why. You decide try to focus more on being excited instead.

     Soon, it's time to eat lunch so you get your lunch and head up to the roof to get ahead on some homework. Bakugou follows you, and when the door shuts behind him he says, "I... I just figured you were going to do homework so I knew I had to help you 'cause you're dumb and don't understand anything..." You can't help but giggle. "WHAT, DUMBA**?!" "I-I'm sorry, but..." you laugh again before continuing. "It's just that you stuttered!" "I DID NOT DA** IDIOT!" You shrug, then sit down and start eating your lunch. Bakugou sits beside you and does the same.

     Once you're both done eating, he says, "Are you going to get out the homework or not?" You start getting it out, but then stop. You can't help it. You have to ask.

"Do you like me?"

Silence.

"Wh-what?"

"You stuttered!"

"I WAS JUST SHOCKED AT THE QUESTION, DA** IT!!! Why would you ask me that?"

"Just curious. So... do you?"

"NO, DA** IT!! YOU'RE SO ANNOYING! I HATE YOU! YOU'RE JUST DEKU'S SISTER! YOU WERE BORN A LOSER!"

"Excuse me?"

"YOU HEARD ME!"

     You didn't know if he actually thought that way of you, but you couldn't help but feel hurt by it. You just got the homework out and started working alone.

"You messed up number 8."

"Whatever."

"HAH?! DON'T 'WHATEVER' ME!"

     You continue working, ignoring the help Bakugou is giving. You didn't even want to see Bakugou right now. Finally, you just pack up the homework and leave the roof in silence, the door shutting behind you. Bakugou is confused and a little shocked, but then realizes why you left. He started feeling bad about what he said. He only said it to hide what he was truly feeling, but he went too far.

     Meanwhile you are going to class, ignoring everyone around you, just trying to think. Did he really mean what he said? Am I actually annoying? Does he actually... hate me? You sit down at your seat in class, a little early. Soon, the bell rings, indicating the end of lunch. Everyone comes into the classroom.

     You feel down the rest of the day, and after school you decide to go to the park to try to cheer yourself up. It didn't help much. Plus, it started raining unexpectedly, so you had to leave earlier than you wanted. You walked all the way home in the rain, getting soaked to the bone.

     Once home, you greet your mom. "Y/n! You're soaked!" she exclaimed. "You'll get sick!" "I'll be okay, Mom. I just need to go dry off and I'll be fine." You walk to your room and start drying yourself off as you change out of your uniform and into some comfy clothes. You feel really cold so you lie in bed under the covers, shivering. You sneeze, and your mom walks in to check your temperature.

"Y/n, you're burning up!"

     You're still shivering, but suddenly you feel hot, the shivering continuing. "You have a cold. You also have chills. You should be fine soon, though. Luckily I have soup warming tonight!" Soon, you and Izuku and your mom eat dinner. You sneeze. "You'll have to stay home tomorrow." You nod, understanding that you'll miss class and have to make-up work that you didn't get to do.

     After dinner, you continue doing some homework. As soon as you finish, your mom comes in and tells you to rest instead. You get ready for bed and then almost immediately fall asleep when you lie down.

I hope you enjoyed that! And yeah, you got lucky! Two chapters written in one night! Of course, the previous chapter was written before midnight, and this one after, so they have different dates on them. I think this chapter was a little longer than some of the others, about a hundred words more I think? Anyway, don't forget to comment what your favorite part is so far!
