Hello my Avocados! I'm sorry it's taking me a while to write this. I've been busy with school and stuff recently. Oops, I just realized I'm not writing in caps like I usually do here. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
He opens the door and smiles. "Y/n!" he exclaims. "Are you here to do homework with me?" You nod. You could probably do it on your own, but it was more fun to do it with someone. Plus, you had just woken up from a nap, still exhausted, afraid that you'd fall back asleep. He leads you into his room to his desk where he had pulled up a chair. He sat there, offering up his comfortable chair to you. "You get the comfy one!" he says, smiling. "You're the guest in my room for now! Plus, I finished most of my homework, so helping you won't be much trouble, so I don't mind." You smile. "Thanks, Izuku." you say gratefully as you sit down and start getting out some of the current homework.
About an hour later, you get up from your brother's desk. You yawn, exhausted. You say goodnight to Izuku and thank him for all the help before leaving his room with your stuff. You put it all away and go to the kitchen just as your mom calls out to both of you, signaling that dinner is ready. You sit down at the table with Deku and your mom as she brings some food to the over. "I hope you enjoy the food!" she says. "It's your favorite ramen!"
You all start eating and finally go to bed soon after. As sleepy as you were, you could not fall asleep. So, of course, you got out of bed, put on a sweatshirt over your bed shirt and put on your shoes. You pull your sweatpants up slightly as they were so loose they had started to slide down a little, although only a few mere centimeters. You go down the apartment stairs and go outside.
It is dark and cloudy outside. You can barely see anything other than the light emitting from the occasional streetlamp. You yawn. "Gosh, I'm so tired." you say to yourself. "Why can't I sleep?" You begin walking down the dimly lit street, wondering whether you'd be able to sleep or not and why you couldn't.
About half an hour later, you smell something bad.
Smoke.
You turn around, hearing a alarm you recognize, a cold, annoying sound. You see, in the distance, you see an orange light. It seemed to be close to your apartment building.
Is that... you thought to yourself. Wait... no... It can't be... That's... Is that a-"
"FIRE!!!!!"
You hear someone scream this in the distance. You feel your heart drop and you start sprinting toward the fire. Once you get close enough to visualize the situation, your fear turns into reality.
Your apartment was on fire.
"Mom! Izuku!" you scream. "MOM!! IZUKU!!" You sprint closer and see your mom and brother in front of the house, the fire department driving up. They quickly start spraying the apartment down, the fire (which hadn't gotten too big yet) slowing getting smaller.
You stop running next to your family. "What happened?!" you yell over the roaring flames. "I don't know!" Izuku yells back, "We woke up to the fire alarm going off and saw fire everywhere!"
You then realize your box of hero stuff you had kept as a little kid was still in your room, which was burning. "No! Wait!" you scream, running into the burning house. You hear your mom and brother yelling after you, and Izuku tried to run behind you, but your mom held him back, too scared of what might happen.
You run up the apartment stairs and into your burning room, which had stopped burning a little bit since the fire department had stopped some of the fire so far. You see your box in the corner, partly burned. You grab it and run.
Your mom and brother hug you tightly, crying, when you run out of the house. "You could've gotten yourself killed, y/n!" your mom yells, still crying and scared of what could have happened to you.
You pull away, apologizing, and turn around just as the apartment you live in explodes, although the rest of the apartment building seeming to be fine.
