In early August, because Eunwoo and Roseanne want to go to another city to attend a friend's wedding, there are only Yunjin and Hanni. Before departing, Roseanne gives Yunjin a stack of orders. Roseanne asks Yunjin to take care of Hanni. In addition, Eunwoo also threatens Yunjin a bit. So, in the end, Yunjin can only agree.
The first day of just the two of them passes quite harmoniously.
Most of the time, Yunjin just lays down on her bed and plays with her phone. Occasionally, Hanni will come over to her room to disturb her. She just barely manages to deal with her sister. For the meal, she just orders various takeaways.
The first day passes, the second day, Yunjin has a friend who asks her out to play a game. Yunjin doesn't want to refuse, so she just changes her clothes and goes out of her room.
This time, Hanni is in the living room watching cartoons. Hearing noises, she looks over.
Yunjin goes to change her shoes. "I'll go out first. Stay at home and do your homework."
Hanni understands what is happening. "You want to go out and play?"Yunjin answers evasively, "Call me if you have troubles."
"No,"
Yunjin pauses and looks at her sister, "You want to control me?"
Hanni looks at the television again and tears open a pocket of potato chips. "If later on a thief comes over, what should I do? I cannot beat him."
"You just need to lock the door, no one will come."
"Then what if I am hungry? I have no food to eat."
Yunjin is impatient. She looks at the pocket of potato chips in Hanni's hand. "There are lots of snacks inside the snack cupboard; how could it not be enough for you?"
Hanni eats the potato chips. "I don't want to eat snacks."
Yunjin looks at Hanni. "Then what do you want to eat?"
"Anyway, I don't want to eat snacks."
Yunjin takes off her shoes with fury. "What do you want to eat? I will bring it home for you."
Hanni looks at Yunjin and says as it should be by rights, "I haven't thought about it."
"Little demon," Yunjin kneels down and pinches Hanni's cheeks forcefully. "When I was your age, when Papa and Mama weren't home, I wasn't only cooking for myself, I even cooked for you."
Hanni's cheeks are pinched, so her words aren't clear. "It's not the same,"
"Why?"
"The time you were my age, you had no unnie." Hanni smiles like a foxy woman, "... but I have."
Yunjin's friends start to call her to rush her. She has no interest in talking with Hanni. "Now you have two choices. Either you want to tell me what you want to eat now, and I'll buy it for you, or you just stay at home and wait to die."
Hanni keeps on chewing. "I choose the latter one," she takes out her phone from under her bottom and finds her father's phone number. She looks at the screen and mutters, "Okay, I'll tell Papa..."
Yunjin snorts, "As you wish, you can report me," she's too lazy to mind her sister again, so she goes to change her shoes. In two seconds, she hears.
"Papa,"
Yunjin wears her left shoe. The time she hasn't worn the right one, she hears Hanni say seriously,
"Unnie tells me to die."Yunjin closes her eyes and takes off her shoes again. She walks quickly toward Hanni and takes the phone. She wants to hang it up, but it's not what she expected. There's no call.
