After lunch as Sivaangi walked back to class her mind was still buzzing.... She had stood up to her fear and faced Ashwin and reclaimed their friendship but something still weighed heavily on her heart....

she wondered....

Sivaangi (mv) : What if that girl was right? What if Ashwin really did have feelings for her?

The thought sent a pang of jealousy through her but she quickly pushed it aside....

Sivaangi (mv) : No...

she told herself firmly and thought....

Sivaangi (mv) : I won't let her words get to me... I am stronger than that....

As she walked through the college halls her phone buzzed again.... It was Ashwin sending her a message...

Ashwin Msg : Sivaangi... u sure u are okay? I am here if u need to talk.. Just let me know.....

Sivaangi smiled softly at the message and her heart warmed at his thoughtfulness.... Maybe things weren't so bad after all.... Maybe they could find their way back to the closeness they once shared without the interference of anyone else.....

With a deep breath she typed....

Sivaangi msg : Thanks Ashwin.... I will be okay....

But as she hit send Sivaangi couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of a much more complicated journey.....

The girl's words still echoed in her mind... it was like a reminder that her place in Ashwin's life was not as secure as she had once believed.....

As she settled into her seat in the classroom Sivaangi tried to focus on her studies but her mind kept wandering back to Ashwin....

She couldn't shake the feeling of gratitude and affection that swelled within her a bittersweet reminder of the bond they shared....

When the final bell rang signaling the end of the college day Sivaangi gathered her belongings and made her way towards the college bus stop.....

As she walked lost in her thoughts Sivaangi suddenly heard the sound of footsteps behind her growing louder with each passing moment....

She turned around to see Ashwin running towards her and his breath coming in ragged gasps as he struggled to catch up....

Ashwin : Sivaangi.... wait...

Ashwin called her out with his voice tinged with urgency making Sivaangi concern at his running form...

she watched Ashwin approach with his cheeks flushed and his eyes wide with exertion....

Sivaangi : Enna aachu Ashwin... ethukku ippadi oodu varinga...

She asked with her voice filled with worry while he was catching his breath....

Sivaangi : Inga paarunga.... u are panting.... ethukku ippo ivlo moochi vaangura alavukku oodi vanthinga...

Ashwin : Evlo neram ah unna na koopdurathu... naanum Sivaangi Sivaangi nu kathiteh un pinnadi vantha... nee paatu speed ah pogiteh irukka...

Ashwin aksed between breaths and continued....

Ashwin : So enakku vera vali therila... i just came running before u could board ur bus...

Sivaangi's brow furrowed in confusion and asked...

Sivaangi : Aama ethukku ivlo avasaram......

Ashwin's cheeks turned slightly pink as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small brown cover.... He held it out to Sivaangi with a sheepish grin...

Ashwin : Athu onnum illa... itha kudukka thaan vanthen....

he replied softly while Sivaangi's eyes widened in surprise as she took that brown cover from Ashwin's outstretched hand and her fingers brushing against his briefly....

Sivaangi : Enna ithu Ashwin...

She aksed curiously looking at he cover while he explained with his voice soft and gentle.....

Ashwin : Thala valikkuthu nu sonnela.... athu thaan... its a tablet for ur headache... I thought u might need this...

Sivaangi felt a lump form in her throat as she looked down at the tablet in her hand... she was soo touched by Ashwin's thoughtfulness....

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she realized just how much he cared for her well-being.....

Sivaangi : Thank u Ashwin... Thank u soo much...

she whispered with her voice barely above a whisper and continued...

Sivaangi : Ithu ellam ethukku Ashwin... u didn't have to do this....

Ashwin smiled warmly at her with his eyes crinkling at the corners and said softly....

Ashwin : Of course want to... u looked so upset earlier and I couldn't do anything to help.... atleast intha painkiller aachum kudukalam nu thaan vanthen aana nee thaan yaaru kopdura enna nu kooda paakama speed ah nadanthutu iruntha... 

Sivaangi : Once again thank u Ashwin.....

Ashwin : Ada enna Sivaangi ithu... nammakkula ethukku thanks ellam...

She just looked at him warmly while he too looking staright into her eyes said warmly....

Ashwin : Take Care Sivaangi....

She just nodded her head with a heart full of gratitude and slipped the tablet into her back and with her steps lighter she walked towards the college bus.... 

And as she glanced back at Ashwin who was standing there waving her a bye with a warm smile she couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and belonging wash over her....

She was so grateful for the bond they shared and the unspoken connection that bound them together.....
