Quinn-Holly-just got out from the bath, now wearing a black dress with some silk rose designs around the waist and the gown. She was sitting in front of the desk beside the bed, looking at the mirror that could flip close. She could've seen it a while ago, but she didn't realize it came with a mirror.
The maid behind her, Gycleff, was tying up her hair to a fishtail braided bun. Quinn was still staring at her own reflection in the mirror, still not believing what happened. Reincarnated in a different world and not even knowing how it works.
How can fate be like this? She asks mentally to herself.
While feeling Gycleff's hands do their handiwork on tying her hair, the maid hums a tune. The princess snapped to reality when she heard the beautiful soothing voice. It sounded so majestic. Was she from an opera before? Quinn looks at the reflection on the mirror and saw that Gycleff was relaxed with singing while tying up the orange hair.
"You sing?"
That simple question made the red-head stop her movements and gulped.
"Apologies... I won't sing agai-"
"No, no, no. Your voice sounds lovely. Just keep singing."
Gycleff was taken aback by the unusual words. Her eyes blinked rapidly as she tries to process the words. As she knows, Quinn never likes someone else singing. The orange-head once forbid the maid to sing when she is around.
Maybe she's just tricking this...
Gycleff let out a soft sigh and pursed her lips as her hands went back to braiding and styling Quinn's hair. She was conflicted whether to let her guard down and believe her or keep her heart locked in case if it was a fake expression to lure her into vulnerability.
After braiding, Gycleff steps back from Quinn. The freckled woman stares at her reflection with fascination and amazement. It was neatly tied and marvelously styled into its given design. She tilts her head from side to side, mouthing some 'ooh' and 'wow' by how it looks so beautiful on her.
"Does Quinn always have you as her hairstylist?"
She questioned to herself while still admiring the maid's work. Little did she ever know she spoke it a little audible. It made Gycleff a bit more conflicted of what was happening around her. Not wanting to question about it, she tried to dismiss the thought but it keeps replaying on her mind.
The princess does know she is Quinn...right?
"Madam Quinn..."
Quinn looks at the young maid with a questioned look. She hummed, waiting for her to continue.
Hesitating, she tried to think about her decisions if it was alright to ask her. She opens her lips, but the words that came out of her mouth weren't the words what she was thinking.
"Nothing. A-apologies..."
Quinn just tilts her head, looking at Gycleff as if to find true answers. But she only shrugged and went back to admiring her hair. Gycleff watching in the distance didn't know what to think of anymore. Trying to act normal is one thing, but for how long will it last? Until when will she snap and ask?

The warm breath of the sky rustled the trees and other greens of nature. Quinn sat down in the grassy field right outside the castle, having some alone time to herself as she tries to think about this second life given by fate. Hey eyes were closed, her bangs and side strands of hair floating against the busy air. Thoughts of questions were running around her head as she thinks of possible reasons why she is here.
