Chapter 3

“Holly Ambrose?”

“That’s… who I really am…”

Quinn reveals the truth of how she was not the Quinn Dagger everyone thought. It also made clear about how the other helpers looked so frightened whenever they see her or when she tries to ask something.

Now that Gycleff had enough courage to ask about the suspiciousness, she was now aware that this woman she was talking to is not the villainess Quinn Dagger.

“How exactly did you get here in this place?”

Quinn fidgets with her fingers as she looks for the exact words to explain to this young maid. With a deep breath, she decides to tell all the truth.

“See… It was on night, when I was working on my report, tasks and other college things…”

“College?” Gycleff curiously asked.

“It’s like an advanced school for teenagers so they can get a job once they’re done… Anyway, it was somewhere 2am ‘til 3am that I finished everything. I slept, peacefully. Then after that… all I know is I randomly woke up here.”

The young redhead only nodded, trying to understand where she was coming. Though, she didn’t know about Quinn’s (Holly’s) other world, so she tries to just get along with whatever this current Quinn talks about.

Gycleff thought that this was going to be a problem to tell everyone about this ‘new villainess’. She would know what will happen if she tells them. All of them will say that ‘Quinn Dagger has brainwashed such innocence in Gycleff.’ Yet, there was nothing she could do about the possibility of it. She could explain more and convince everyone, but that would still lead to the same scene.

“…-cleff… Gycleff… Hey, Cleffy!”

Busy thinking, her running thoughts came to a sudden halt when she heard her name being spoken by the girl she is with in the bedroom. The redhead turned her head to the orange-haired and the young maid turned her head to Quinn.

“You okay? Was the information too much?”

Gycleff blinked. “Ah… Ah! N-no. It’s alright, nothing is too much about it, hehe. Just, uhh… Just thinking about the reincarnation possibility, heh… Like, there must be something that happened when you were sleeping back in your world. And fate might’ve decided to give you a second life somewhere….or something.” She awkwardly spoke out of nervousness.

“Hmm… That could be a possibility…”

Quinn muttered, nodding and putting up a finger on her chin as she visualizes in her mind about what Gycleff said. Though, she quickly moved that aside and let one more curiosity move in. She shook her head and looks back at the redhead maid with a smile.

“Got one more thing before we close off the night…”

“… Hm?”

“Tell me more about Quinn Dagger.”

The clouds covered up the light of day, making it a little dim around the place. The wind was a little strong, moving the branches and leaves of the trees from side to side, creating a rustling sound, along with the music of nature.

Quinn looks at the town outside the window of her room. Her hands were busy fixing up her own dress for the day as she was humming a song that she likes, back in the other world. In her head, she was wondering what is like in this new world, she wanted to explore the whole town. That’s where the doors of the room creaked open.
