Confession

It's always unsure if you need to make the first move or if they'll do it, but either way it might not always go as planned. If it was planned. At least on your side, make sure you know for sure that you actually feel that way for them, because if you don't you shouldn't tell them that you do (this could lead to damage in trust later on). Most importantly though, if they tell you- do not feel pressured to say it back because as I said not even a second ago- (this could lead to damage in trust later on) and it's good that I repeated it just now, that way maybe you're more aware of what you read. It can be difficult to say no to them, but at the end of the day it's better not to fake liking them back then having had apologised to them and telling them you don't feel that way. It will hurt them, that's for sure, but hopefully they manage to move on and find someone who they want to and can have, who also feels that way. It's nice to wish them a happy future in romance.
Yet this is not the way this story- or rather book, goes. If one of you confessed their love to one another and it goes like this:

You/Them: hey I wanted to tell you something..

You/Them: yes?

You/Them: I.. I like you, _______...

You/Them: What?? Oh my- you do?! Me too!

Rather than badly, I hope that day is going to be a very happy day for both of you. It is important to show them that happiness, otherwise they might get the wrong impression.
