"-ng!"

"Wake up, Sang!"

"What's happening to her?"

"Shit, if I know! I fucking red lined one of the guys, someone should be here to help us fuckingnsoon enough."

"Sang. Shhhh. It's okay cupcake."

"What the fuck is happening Gabriel and Lucian? Why would you red line when you're right across from me?"

"Fuck you North! Trouble just started thrashing and stopped fucking breathing! If that's not good enough for red line, then explain what the fuck is!"

"What? Sang baby stopped fucking breathing and you're just fucking sitting there?!"

"Shi- Fucking bastard, don't push me like that damn it."

"Baby, come on, wake up for us. You're safe now Baby."

I am awake.

But I couldn't move. Memories of pain and torture invading my mind has me frozen in fear. I can feel warm tears slide down my face into my hair as North holds me in his lap.

"I just red lined Doc. Maybe he can help." I hear Luke say in a panicked tone.

I'm okay. I promise I'll be fine.

But my words don't escape. I couldn't even open my eyes, and I feel my anxiety rise in panic at having no control over my body.

"Shit. Sang baby, it's okay, breathe. Focus on breathing okay?"

I try to do as he says, but it's pretty damn hard to focus on breathing when I have flashes of dark memories crossing my mind, and no way to escape the visions.

"-stopped breathing and is now breathing erratically?" I hear Dr. Sean's voice ask out loud.

I hadn't even realized he entered the room.

Then I feel small touches of my body as he checks heartrate and everything else he could do.

"I think it's a severe panic attack. It's not often. But sometimes someone can send their own body into a sudden state of shut down when emotions become uncontrollable. Pookie must have some pretty bad anxiety, and she's probably under much stress, If I had to take a guess, she had a nightmare and that ricochet into this."

"Well then what the fuck can we do to get her out of the panic attack then?" Gabe demands.

"Well when I put smelling salts under her nose Gabe, there was no reaction. So we'll observe her for a while, if she stops breathing again, then we will take her to the hospital. Otherwise, we'll just have to wait until her body and mind calm down enough to bring her back to the present."

His tone sounds sad, as if wishing he could do more.

But he is correct,  I've had these a few times before, and it will wear off. But the feeling is scary as hell.

"Gentlemen, we all still need rest, why don't we take shifts to wait for her Panic attack to subside?" The calm commanding voice of Owen floats through my brain slowly.

I can't hear what's being said at the moment, as if I'm at the end of a really long tunnel and not even the echos of their voices can reach my ears.

For what feels like an eternity, I'm stuck in a paralyzed state of fear and panic. But eventually my consciousness feels as though it's floating around in the dark.

🔥🔥🔥

"Are you awake now Sang?" I flinch at the sudden voice before prying my eyes open to see the culprit.
