"I have one." I smirked, throwing my thumb over my shoulder, towards the door.
"Oh, really?" Princess rolled her eyes, big dark ones rimmed with thick eyelashes. What a bitch.
"Yes, really." I rolled mine as Geoff leaned in. "A great one."

I explained my plan, and everyone was in- except Stuck-Up Princess and the Big Guy.
The quarterback gulped, running a hand over his short black hair.
"I don't know if I wanna do this." he mumbled, his eyes full of worry.
"Don't worry, Deej." I grinned, placing my hand on his shoulder. "I'll make sure we're careful." I promised, and it worked 'cause he nodded at me in approval.

I looked up at the scary brunette who was staring at me. If looks could kill...
"What about you?" I asked, leaning closer to her.
"How do I convince you?"
She shook her head.
"I am taking no part in this." Courtney huffed, the quick rise and fall of her chest showing me she's probably not budging.

"C'mon, Court!" Bridgette started, pulling at her arm and giving her a kind smile. "It'll be fun!" she whined. "We're your friends for the day- pleaasseeeee!"

Courtney groaned as she blew away a strand of hair away from her line of sight.
"Fine."

As we tip-toed through the hallways, I thought about what I should do next to piss off Mr. McClean. Obviously setting up a bucket of red fucking paint wasn't enough- it only landed me a Saturday detention, so I was on the prowl for new ideas.

I didn't like detentions- heck, I hated them- but something about pissing off the man in charge gave me pleasure and was a whole lot of good entertainment. Pa was never happy 'bout it though. Being the father of a criminal and captain of the police force isn't something he's proud of. Which is why I do it even more. If he's gonna hate me, the least I can do is give my old man a good reason.

The halls were pretty much silent, but I could hear McClean's irritating voice through the thin walls of this cheap-ass school.
"Go!" I whisper-shouted to Princess, who was glaring from in front of me, her head fully turned.

Princess, a.k.a. Courtney Satella was the polar opposite of me. She was the straight-A school captain, head cheerleader and president of the student council- all that nerd stuff. And she was annoying as shit. She was also hall-monitor and had given me more detentions than I could count with my fingers. The thing was, you wouldn't expect her to be hot. But she was.
Very, very hot. Shoulder-length brown hair and bossy, she had a fine ass and an attitude that almost beat mine. If I hadn't resented her so much, maybe I would've wanted her. Too bad.

We finally reached the cafeteria, I scanned the room and gave everyone a thumbs-up. Thank God Chef Hatchet isn't here, or I would be done for. Poor man hates me. Can't blame him.

"What do you suppose we do now?" Princess rolled her brown eyes, waiting for my reply.
"Do you need my say?" I smirked, making her instantly groan in frustration- but I still noticed the blush that covered her cheeks.

"Guys, he could be coming any second!" Geoff whispered, his hands already full of potato-chips.
"Okay," DJ shrugged, taking a tray and starting to fill it up. Bridgette followed soon after, her pockets full of chocolate bars.

I waited for Courtney to move, but she remained standing- watching in disappointment as if she was better than us.

"We're not waitin' for you, Princess." I cocked an eyebrow as I used my black shirt as a bowl to scoop up the lasagna bowl and other snacks I was carrying. Courtney sighed, her shoulders slumping in shame as she joined us.

The five of us got all the food we could hold, before sprinting back to the library.

Laughter filled the empty hallways as we ran through them. I ran my hand along the lockers, banging on them as Geoff and DJ joined me. Soon, Bridge was also yelling and running her fingers along the wall of lockers.
"C'mon Court!" I yelled, laughing as all the other guys did. Courtney rolled her eyes but did it anyway, giggles emitting from her too.

It was a pretty sound, I had to admit. And she looked different. Not physically different, but she just... was different, in that moment.
A carefree smile replaced her fake 'polite' one and her dark eyes sparkled with freedom and joy as she screamed through the hallways.

I gasped when I heard McClean's voice yelling.
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" he shouted, too far away to see us but close enough to catch us. I covered Courtney's mouth with my hand. She giggled, her breath warming my cupped fingers.

"Run!" I whisper-shouted, grabbing Courtney's hand as we all ran towards the library. Bridgette, Geoff, and DJ went the other way as Princess and I sprinted across the school. I tugged on her hand as the wind blew her brown hair. I looked behind me, smiling like an idiot at how gorgeous she was. She laughed and caught up to me, now in front of me as she pulled me to an empty alleyway.

She brought a finger to her plump lips, whispering for me to be quiet as footsteps came closer. As I quickened my breaths, I noticed how close we were. Shoulder to shoulder, as she stifled her snickers.

"Anyone out there?" McClean yelled as I held my breath. I glanced at her, us both grinning from ear-to-ear as we tried to be as quiet as we could. Even from the dim light, I could count the number of freckles on Princess's upturned nose.

She was wearing a short black skirt- I noticed it when she walked in. It was very short. I bet if she bent over, I'd get a good view of her ass.

a/n: yeah duncan's a perv n a bit of a dick but its kinda canon yall so dont complain.

"Come on!" Courtney demanded in a quiet voice as she wrapped her hand around mine. Her hand was cold, but I didn't get goosebumps because of her freezing hand. It was a reason I can't explain. Whatever.
